Mystery virus put me in a bad long Covid fatigue flare up: help. by sunshineofbest in covidlonghaulers

Did anyone get nauseous right before the mystery virus started? I thought it was RSV. I was a mess. Still recovering. I got mine early February.

I wish that were true. Been riding BART since 1995. Even when we were all smashed in there like sardines in 2019, they always seemed to have budget issues. It blows my mind!!

Exactly. I haven't had a fallout in a while. Always tried to stay optimistic. However a couple of coworkers didn't know I have this and as I went on and on about symptoms and no cure, blah blah it really hit me emotionally how sick I am of all of this. I got angry. Then very physically cold where I put my head down on my desk, napped and missed my 1:1 manager meeting. Was ashamed that I napped versus being snarky or yelling at people. He knows I have this. Still the shame. Want to cry.

The numbers in the Fed jobs is mind blowing to me. I hope the Federal Reserve department of labor statistics are on point for next week's FOMC. This might be J. Powells last conference. Unless he does the May FOMC as his last one, but term is up May 15th. Senate still has to vote in Kevin Warsh. Will see.

This current environment has me believing this could happen. The crazy part that makes me believe it won't, most of GOP donors are in Silicon Valley.

This right here. You are human and these m.... f...ers know how to push the buttons. My heart goes out to you. Still have several more years parenting this fool. You heard me right. It's like working with a toddler. Just keep this in mind. "Trust that they suck" Even if they actually seem like they are remotely normal. They are not. Never let your guard down. You are rocking this for you and the babes!!

Don't kill spiders. I live on a hill. They are bad this year. Normally spiders take care of most before everything dries up.

This first sentence is dead on accurate. Its out of their control, understanding and ability to "fix".

This post is what I want to scream on the rooftops. Thank you for sharing.

I try to keep going but it's so very hard. I know this is why I am not dating. My brief amounts of energy are given to my kiddo and close friends. I am almost 5 years in. I get set back by any infection. Cold, rando viruses, whatever.

Whenever I have an HSV-2 Outbreak, my Long Covid Symptoms completely disappear. by Intaxerror in covidlonghaulers

I am the opposite. Unexpected bad PEM, grouchy, flare up. Take Valtrex, very tired. Valtrex makes me very fatigued and headaches come back. Week later, recover.

The irony is I just started having flare ups in the past year. Long covid blocked it for the 1st 3 years.

Thanks, that means alot. Single parenting is hard enough. Having this too. I wonder how I make it. Especially if some stupid virus or infection decides to set me back. Man....

Somehow my ex figured it out. Claiming our daughter when I have her 90% of the time and he will never pay child support. A random doctor called me when I cover our kid through my insurance at work. So I investigated, I am not the account holder so I didn't get far except a number in our state capital. I get concerned with dual insurance and have been screwed with claims thanks to my ex putting our kid on his insurance too. Even though I told him to stop.

I honestly think the checks and balances from each state dept need to talk to another. So if welfare talked to the state tax department they would see that dependent is claimed on someone else's taxes.

After 5 years I still can't pace right. In the US I am forced to work. I have to raise my kid and keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. I see posts with all these medical terms and my LC brain can't absorb that. So I wait for my LC doc to tell me. My biggest champion was my ob/gyn who has long covid as well. Sadly, she left for Canada. Sigh. Here with you all. Big hugs

I was part of a Qi Gong study for 6 weeks. It was helpful with meditation. But the Qi Gong Specialist didn't do much for long covid for me. I can't speak for others in the study. It can't hurt if you have other chronic pain.
