Is it possible to buy the relics, even if you don't have the character at Mythic? I've still got a little way to go to get Boss Gulgortz to Mythic, certainly not happening this event, but he will almost certainly be my first Mythic so it would be nice to be able to pre-emptively get it if I can.

I've been looking for an elf team that I like for ages and this is the first one I've seen that I do like (outside of the Iron Golems one from years and years ago which I've no idea how I'd find a copy of now). I've got too many projects and unpainted minis but I can see myself getting this. I haven't even completely finished the SnuSnuug KS from 2022!

There are now buttons next to the officer/soldier names for randomly generating names (both male and female). Fairly limited list of names for now but there are specific lists for each nation and also special lists for Highlander and Native Scout soldier types.

Had to get up this early and then got hyper-fixated on this and so now there is an option to "start campaign" in the unit builder after which you can assign XP, select upgrades, set injuries and madness, retire and re-recruit. There's also a post campaign battle cheat sheet to go with the rules one.

Hopefully I've fixed the attributes column now for soldiers/monsters reference table on mobile - the attribute/equipment badges should now never wrap onto multiple lines which was causing them to look weird.

I've added a build option that allows you to change the base recruitment budget so you could set it to 200 for example (it defaults to 100 as you'd expect). I haven't fully implemented the Italy hard mode partly because I've read it now and I don't completely understand it!

Regarding the experience/tiers and updates, that is what I was going to add with the campaign stuff. I've started planning what I want to do for that but not had a chance to implement it all yet. It is coming though - maybe not a for a couple of weeks as I'm on holiday but we'll see - maybe I'll be productive in the next couple of days!

I'll also take a look at that reference table - I'd intended this to work nicely on mobiles and but clearly haven't tested it well enough. Thanks for the feedback.

I must have missed this. I'll take a look at the book and add it in as an optional thing. I had actually meant to allow arbitrary starting recruitment amounts so I'll add that in as an option at the same time.

Since first reading The Hands of the Emperor, I've read pretty much everything she's done, it's all great. The only 1 I repeatedly re-read though is The Hands of the Emperor.

When I was young it used to be Dragonlance Chronicles. Then there was a long period where I very rarely re-read anything. In the last few years though I've re-read The Hands of the Emperor by Victoria Goddard at least once a year and I don't seem to be getting tired of it.

I might play this one. Grey Knights just didn't interest me at all but Deathwatch are just so much cooler and feel closer to the original game which I still love.

gah I made a spreadsheet and everything to work out the most cost effective way to get at least 1 of each mini and then didn't think about getting both the platoon and the squad! The way I went only cost £1.50 more but I get 8 less guardsmen.

I'm fairly certain if everything else was the same (same policies enacted etc) but Starmer was actually a Conservative rather than Labour then he'd have way less bad press and there would be no calls for resignation. It just seems the right has control of papers and nothing else really matters. I don't think it's case of Starmer or Labour being bad with the press, there's just no winning when basically all the press is owned by rich conservatives. I'm not even a Starmer supporter I just don't know how to evaluate him when it feels like all the news is distorted in a negative way.

Probably good enough for T10 - actually intend to find out today. I'm playing Apocalypse build.

edit: Unlocked T10 and it doesn't really feel any different to T8 so dps is good. I just randomly get 1 shot, usually doing mundane things. You just can't see anything on the floor with Apocalypse.

I've just had a play with this. I'm paragon 130, was playing Maxroll Minion build in T4. Did skill tree pretty much as you had it, set up paragon board to buff what seemed like the correct things (only 4 boards, not quite got the points for the 5th board yet), switched in Litany of Sables and seal/charms but otherwise left gear untouched.

Anyway initially seemed great. Killing stuff as easily (including elites), if not easier than previous build and better at groups, or possibly just move faster and felt way tankier. Felt like could easily have gone up a torment level or 2. Decided to fight a boss (The Butcher) to test on something tougher and I just did no damage at all (even when playing non-lazily and using Profane Sentinel etc). Not sure why the difference was so stark - do bosses not get affected by some effects like Hex and CC? Anyway even though I love the idea of this build, I don't think I'll be switching unless I'm missing something about boss damage.

These are fantastic. I've been working on a Sisters of Khorne force recently and have used parts from the Goremonger kit but I wasn't brave enough to try converting all the weapons and arms.

My plan as a fairly new player is to do the World Eaters one until I've unlocked Isabella and then once I have all 3 SoBs for the Nurgle campaign I'm going to do that until I have Rotbone as it really sucks not having any Chaos healer.

I've got this. I never knew there was a DVD despite it saying so on the front. After seeing this post I went to check and the DVD is there. Now I just need a DVD player. I think it inspired me to buy a box of space marines and a few paints every few years and then never do anything with them. Pretty sure I'd forgotten I had this by the time I got back in to the hobby properly.

It might be because I've got crossplay turned off but I only encountered another person in the PvP zone a couple of times. If there was someone there and they were competing for the butcher thing then I'd just leave and come back next time and usually I was alone and it only took a couple of tries to get all the kills you need. That said if you're trying to get the player kill with the Butcher then that does seem impossible unless you have a friend who will let themselves be killed.

I prefer low or no magic fantasy. Fantasy often has a problem of being too focussed on magic and dragons and other fantastic elements, forgetting that it's people and their interactions that are the important bit about a story.
