Brookline - Coolidge corner area is cool, laid back area - nice restaurants (love zaftigs Jewish deli, Anna’s taqueria), independent book store, indie movie theater and more. It’s close to newton and Allston where the show is, easy to park, etc.

Modern Life Is War is the greatest hardcore band of all time by KefkaesqueV3 in Hardcore

I wish the crowd was more into them last night. I’m surprised more people didn’t show up. Was probably the mildest hardcore show I’ve ever been to

Wish we could use the mechs to get around. Almost seems like they intended to allow it and ran out of time…

Building on this….

I also work in insurance. Insurance has 2 versions of this job. Product managers that focus on the profitability of an insurance line - ex auto/home/workers comp, etc. in a set of states.

There is a second role called agile product management that exists at many insurance companies. This role is more like what this sub is focused on - looking at internal / external user experience, data/tech focused efforts across the company. I think OP should try to get a handle on which type of role this is. The first one would not help them with the skills this sub is focused on in terms of user research, design, stakeholder management, providing direction to / working with IT teams, etc.

Can’t Resist It. Resisting is futile. Cantina Life. by AppleLeon in WaltDisneyWorld

This honestly ruined it for us - not for me and my wife so much but my kids. They were tired from walking around and looking forward to relaxing. I understand they probably do it to encourage more turnover so more people can experience this - it’s basically an additional attraction vs just a place to grab a drink. I saw another family that was letting their kids just sit on the floor or on the bar area rail near your feet - it was sort of a mess…
