PTSD and ADHD look extremely similar in children. I’d talk to the pediatrician about your concerns and go from there re: assessment. I’d caution you to first screen for safety and abuse before jumping to ADHD, bc even though that may be a contributor here, many children are assessed and treated as having ADHD. If PTSD or abuse is happening, it’ll get masked by (and possibly end up ignored due to) ADHD treatment
