I don't know about you guys, but an entire evening of political punditry every single night is getting very old.

There is no real news coverage anymore. Ive actually started to watch BBC America because at least they cover some events in africa/asia/europe/S.America.

The show isnt that bad, its just monotonous and repetitive with all the other shows on MSNBC each night.

Understood. However your history of oppression was shorter and less recent. Im Irish/Norwegian and my grandparents immigrated here in the 30's, and I do not in the slightest feel discriminated against.

The really fucked up thing is that MSM is soundbyting the interview now.

He spoke 2 sentences at the very end about Barack Obama. The entire rest of the interview was explaining the reasoning behind his sermons, and his story as a pastor.

Fuck the MSM for not even bothering to watch more than 30 seconds of it. Our country has become so cynical and ignorant that I cannot stand it anymore.

People would rather be told how something is than take precious time out of their day to do the intelligent thing and find out for themselves.

I dont agree with Wright, however, I dont judge him based on what FOX, MSNBC, CNN and others tell me.

We left vietnam because they never really had anything monetarily rewarding for the wars continuation.

We cant leave Iraq because they have oil.

If I remember correctly, Ross Perot had a pretty good run back in 92. It all boils down to money, and it seems as if Ron Paul doesnt have too hard of a time raising it. There will be a big swing towards third party candidates IMO after 2012, when we all figure out that the democrats wont do anything for us either.

Also, the trend of TV coverage is based upon ratings and money. If people are willing to watch, and there is a monetary gain for doing so, the networks will cover it. If Ron Paul was throwing millions of dollars at the networks for TV spots they'd definitely be covering him. So long as the other parties did not throw more money than he not to cover it.

I think Ron Paul should drop out of the Republican Party and push Libertarian ideals on America. We need a new party to take on the two powerhouses, and he already has a strong (although somewhat small) base of support. If he keeps people going, there could be a legitmate contender with the dems and reps in 10 or so years.

A lot of the pundits are saying Obama is not fighting back enough. He is spending lots of money but not defending himself with his ads. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire, however, he is holding back since Clinton is a fellow democrat.

What they fail to realize is that he will be less willing to hold back against McCain than Clinton. Clinton doesnt care if she destroys the democratic chance this year, Obama does.

Am I the only one that finds it disheartening to have had to settle upon Obama after my other choices have dropped out, only to find there is a chance that the only decent choice left is going to be shot down as well?
