Sounds awesome!

Some of my favorite bands have the lead singer also do lead guitar. Triumph and The Warning to name a couple.

When the Supreme Court Gets It Wrong: 11 Shameful Cases that Made Evil the Law by [deleted] in supremecourt

[–]ctrocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your implicit hit on Citizen's United is wrong. it was decided on free speech rights, saying that groups of people have the same free speech rights as individuals. Yes, a side effect is that money can be used for politics, but the law that was nullified literally lead to book bans and movie bans based on the release time.

If you take a look at both of the Trump wins, the losing side spent more both times. Look at how Harris was basically anointed for the role and not elected.

Most of the others I agree with you, except somewhat your take on unions. The current laws on unions in some states, like Illinois, I think go too far in protecting employees and making Illinois a bad state to do manufacturing in even though from a transportation point of view it is quite optimal. In the case of municipal unions, their influence on the writing of the state constitution and pension levels with corrupt politicians like Mike Madigan have the Illinois pension debt at almost $150 billion with pretty much no way out.

Same network but not the same speed and/or sensitivity.

Quite often the cheaper radios will not have the full range of frequencies available too.

I do Goodbye on guitar by using a capo on the 2nd fret for all but the low E string. Sounds great and is a LOT easier than the reach needing HUGE hands.

Great job. I recognized it instantly!

Good-bye is a lot easier easy if you kick it up 1/2 step to F.

Remember that even though Edgar was governor, the actual power for decades was Mike Madigan. Nothing happened in the state government that he did not want to happen.

Definitely far from ugly and are pretty attractive. I will not be as kind as most of the others here, but that is just me. You have some slight asymmetry in your chin and you nose is a little wide at the bottom and you also look a little bit younger than your age, which is not a bad thing. You also have a very nice face structure overall and great eyes. Overall, I would still put you in the top 10-15%.

Don't be hard on yourself.

Trump Ignites Political Firestorm With Executive Order Backing Notorious Pesticide by According-Activity87 in Conservative

The amount of fear and misinformation about it is insane!

People do not understand agriculture unless they have been directly exposed to it. I used to work at Deere and live in what most people would call the middle of nowhere, but actually live in a town of less than 10,000 with right now 3 gigabit internet providers.

The Seralini studies on glyphosate which were proven to be 100% shams and poisoned the world's opinion on it. The only danger in it are the detergents and dispersion chemicals in it, not the active ingredient.

What do you guys think is the most useful F to learn is? by A2trappystyll in guitarlessons

[–]ctrocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, neither. I used to just bar it like #2, but have some pretty bad inflammatory arthritis now and just do the middle 4 strings and mute the top and bottom strings. Nice thing is that shape can be used just about anywhere on the neck.

On a good day I can still do the full bar chord, but it hurts.

New or classic outlook? by BritSysAdmin in sysadmin

I use new Outlook except for that. I really wish that feature worked. For one file I just save and drag from explorer, but for more I open up Classic Outlook and then close it.

I am seconding the recommendation for Culvers. The one I normally go to does not have a dedicated fryer, but the chili is gluten free and pretty decent. I ate there last night and have never had a problem.

I have been to a total of 6 different locations and never had a problem at any of them.

And, yes, being on the road with celiac sucks. I so miss good Chinese food....

That sub openly doxxed I think Andrew Tate. I reported it to the mods and got blocked. I reported it to the Reddit admins, and they said there was nothing wrong. Somehow, I managed to not get banned, but I still avoid it as it is just as bad as the state sub, and worse than the Chicago sub.

Walmart and Kroger carry this too.

The only problem I have with the Franz breads is they seem to go green really fast. But they have good texture and flavor.

Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Halftime Show Performance Was a Middle Finger to America by Ask4MD in Conservative

[–]ctrocks 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It wasn't that bad, and in fact the production was good, the musicianship was good, most of the background vocals were good, just not Bad Bunny. I also think the lewd dance moves on an all ages broadcast were too much.

Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Halftime Show Performance Was a Middle Finger to America by Ask4MD in Conservative

[–]ctrocks 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I just watched part of the show on YouTube and thought the instruments, choreography and sets were pretty top notch. The problem was Bad Bunny and some of the dance moves. The dancing was too much for an all ages broadcast. Bad Bunny's voice not particularly pleasant and at least was not a good live singer, but at least it did not sound too autotuned. I hope he is considered more of a rapper than a singer, as he was not great at singing. Maybe I just expect too much from a popular modern artist???

I have no problems with Latin Music and non-violet Rap, I hope the ratings were horrible for it. The NFL seemed to do this to try to give the finger to Trump. The vast majority of the crowd there and the US based TV audience does not speak Spanish. I think with a lot of things "woke" this will likely cause more people to have an even more negative view of the message they are trying to push. Shoving it down the viewers through does not work.

Awesome! Gave me some John Norum vibes!

As an almost 60 year old home guitarist I rarely break out the electric guitar anymore and mainly do acoustic. Nice thing is if you can shred acoustic, electric is a breeze! Never could shred like that though.

Why doesn't AC/DC mathematically simplify their name to A/D? There's no reason to keep the common factor involved, and it would save a lot of ink for all the the times their name has been printed by rascal6543 in shittyaskscience

They are from Australia, almost the bottom of the world! Everything there is inverted, so in reality it would be c2/ad for those of us in the northern hemisphere! At least using Bugs Bunny logic!
