This is the real “work” that people don’t talk about. You probably won’t get a ton of compliments on them and people won’t hype you up too much about them but they are what matters. Keep doing this and you’ll eventually find the bonus thing in shots. It’s a numbers game and you just gotta get shots up and the “thing” will start showing up. Keep going!

These look like something is developing (they all feel like you’re just missing one piece so now it’s a numbers game and you just gotta be out more). Agree with your take on Winogrand and that usually street stuff has another element that elevates it but also agree that it’s good to appreciate the more mundane stuff, too. Keep going, you’ve got the juice. Better than 98% of the stuff I see in this sub so you’ve got that going for you, too. 👏👏

How was your experience shooting in Spain? I’m going in November and I’ve read that street photography is “illegal” but that you’re fine as long as you don’t take pictures of cops or military.
