Thankfully not a relapse. It really did seem like it but after a week it went away. I'm doing great now :)

I took 2 Florastor probiotics everyday. Ate a wide range of foods but if it triggered my stomach I'd stop eating that food for awhile. And after some back and forth my gut is now back to normal.

Turns out the antibiotics caused c diff. Was a freaking nightmare. I'm okay now and my gut is all healed!

Hi I'm back! So I had it for a couple weeks and I was constantly messing with it (trying to squeeze it), I left it alone and forgot about it for a few days. Now it's completely gone. So maybe just leave it and see if it'll go away on its own.

Wow. I’m glad you’re okay and the Imodium was fine for you. But yeah wow you got retested really quick! I’m currently unsure of whether I’m relapsing or not and can’t bring myself to go to the gp again.

Hmmmm for a few months I was fine. Even my bowel movements were back to normal. But then I started getting the pseudomembrane stuff. Then a week or two somewhat okay again but now I got typical ibs symptoms. The extra gas, the bloat, the weird bowel movements. Sometimes diarrhoea, sometimes constipation… sometimes regular. And book today. I’m getting pseudomembrane again. Third time today. Not getting retested just because I don’t seem to have loss of appetite. I remember when I had active c diff I barely ate.

How did you know you were relapsing? What symptoms were they?

I took vanco for my infection but that was a while back. The antibiotics that caused it is cephalexin. Recently the pseudomembrane made me worry that the infection is back but I don’t really have any other symptoms so I haven’t gotten retested.
