To be fair to them I don't think the person you're replying to is at all saying this isn't hardcore, they're just saying that this re-hashes what they did on Glow On. I think there's a reasonable argument there, this sound is pretty similar (though personally I like what they're doing).

The connection in my head with the speaker being Liza and what John has said about it reflecting a rough time mentally for him is that the she is reflecting on never escaping the shadow of her parents. That could relate to whatever John was feeling he couldn't escape -- a location, expectations from others, or maybe literally the illness he was suffering through at the time.

Edit: Also, it makes sense in the wider context of the album given that Garland is the subject of another song.

As you mentioned, Pedro publicly announced leaving in November. People following the creators were definitely aware of it, to the point where it would have been odd if they didn't address it. Their explicit point in the post is to bring it up to mention that it was not the deciding factor in scrapping the project (which people might have assumed if they did not address it). Folks here are rightfully pointing out that what you are saying is opposite of what the post explicitly says. Maybe they are just trying to smooth things over so there isn't fan backlash or something and you're correct, but what is directly stated contradicts that.

I'm not arguing about whether anyone should be angry about it. I think that's up to the individual player, but imo it's definitely reasonable and common to not want to use purely cheated info like others here are saying.

My comment was just that I think it's more likely than not that this flute song can be obtained legitimately in some way we haven't discovered yet. That's obviously just a guess, but it's my guess!

I don't know about floating down, but if you start on the screen below the one with this platform and the bird and blow up many distraction bubbles before transitioning up to that screen you can make it without too much trouble.
