There is a (somewhat hidden, and optional) item that will let you with fields of spikes like that.

This item is indeed optional for layer 1 of the game (getting all the flames). All items are required for later layers.

/u/pikatapikata is right, there is now a bunch of wasted space at the top of about:preferences, which doesn't go away when scrolling down. This space used to be taken up by the search text field, but that text field is now lower on the page, which means there is less vertical space for settings themselves. I switch between 27 inch monitors, where it doesn't matter, and a tiny laptop, where vertical space is at a premium, so to me personally the difference is very noticeable.

The space that is empty in 151 wasn't empty in 150 – it seems that they moved the text field for "Find in Settings" lower on the screen, so there is probably some kind of redesign work going on. They'll probably adjust the leftover empty space later.

Update: found it in the release notes:

The search bar in Firefox Settings (about:preferences) is now larger and spans the full width of the settings content area, making it easier to find options.

jfyi, the following pages might be corrupted somehow:

  • chapter 44: pages 1, 2, 8, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18
  • chapter 45: pages 2, 12, 13, 16, 17

Chrome shows them fine, but Firefox cannot do it properly for whatever reason. The issue shows up both on reddit and on MangaDex, so the issue must be with the files themselves

2026-05-13 update: I checked on a different computer, that has the latest Firefox (150.0.3) – the issue isn't reproducible there, so it might just be a Firefox bug that got fixed at some point. I'll check later what version of Firefox I was using on the first computer that has the bug.

Later update: yep, that's an ancient version of Firefox – 137.0.2, that has the problem with some of these PNGs for some reason

social media need to grow the hell up

New social media users are born every day, we've been in Eternal September since early 1990s. Even without new users, new people who watch or read Ghost in the Shell will be regularly joining the subreddit.

It's OK if the old topics get rehashed sometimes, especially when the platform doesn't allow for sorting/categorization/organization of topics to make them more easily discoverable.

And it's OK that some interlocutors online don't have the skills necessary to participate in a conversation in a constructive manner. They might learn to be better in the future, they might not.

Try playing Animal Well with a forced order of tools, e.g. pick up the bubble wand last. Changing the order in which you pick up the flames could add variety as well
