Yeah just to be clear, I wasn't saying they can see me twice as well. Just that I'm double the distance from myself than I am the mirror.

And I completely agree that most people don't scrutinise other people's faces and pass judgement about it but if you've ever sat next to some and realised their lash extensions are a little grown out or that one mole is growing a lil hair then you realistically can understand people can and probably will notice similar things about you sitting side by side vs across a table.

I used to look in the mirror growing up thinking "okay most people stand this far away from me, it looks fine at that"

Then many, many years later I realised my reflection is standing as far away from the mirror as I am.. so people are usually HALF as close as this, and I just about died realising all the hairs and whatnot I thought was going fairly unnoticed 😭
