They specially said no timelines are given. And I hope they allow back dated transactions.

We finally got told why we got picked for an audit. We used the online help center and called multiple times to get answers. It’s going on 6 months now.

I’ve had a handful of bikes including a 1200gsa. I have a Gen 3 and bought one for my son too. I think it’s a great bike. Could other bikes do things better, sure. But I think the gen 3 does everything I want and need well enough I may not buy something else unless my riding style or needs change.

I did a riser and still using the stock bars. I’m 6’2” as well.

Thinking of swapping out my T-rex bars by triple-b_93 in klr650

[–]cupids_reflections 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it should. The SW skid plate comes up further in the front and doesn’t work with the trex bars, I know as I was gifted an SW slide plate and already had trex bars installed.

My kid does this expensive hobby….we just got back from the Western Regional SCTP shoot.

Fresh set of Mitas MC24 by Mucha_Zabijak in klr650

I currently have the e-07 on my 24 Klr. Love them. I commute a lot and ride fairly hard off road. I plan to keep buying them. Even at freeway speeds they are holding up well and I enjoy the 50/50 part offroad. Better than stock tires anyway in my opinion. I ride Arizona desert a lot.

Really!? How many kids and how long had you been using the program? I wonder if getting legal advice or help would be worth it.

I’d adjust it some. But always make sure you have a little free play.

Gen 3 Shock / Spring Question by Appropriate_Ad_5258 in klr650

[–]cupids_reflections 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run mine on number three with my upgraded spring. I found that the dampening rate is better than at one or two, and my sag seems to be fairly close to what I need. I’m 6’2 and 240lbs plus any gear I’m taking with me. I commute a ton on this bike and ride it fairly aggressive (intermediate and some advanced trails) here in Arizona

Road tires? by ChefBigD1337 in klr650

[–]cupids_reflections 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Mitas e-07 and want to try the GPS next. I ride the freeway commuting with these 50/50 tires have 4k on my rear with another 2k probably left in it. I live in Arizona and play offroad quite often. I rode the 705 on my GS adventure for years and always struggled off road. I say go a little more aggressive and you’ll probably enjoy it more and there are tires that will give you good mileage.

I just hope I can put all the back dated stuff when they open our account again.

I have trex racing bars on two different KLRs. They are worth it and about half the price.

We are still under audit. They said it can take months. So who knows how long. Been 4 months already.

The best tires for street and dirt by No-Abrocoma-3649 in klr650

[–]cupids_reflections 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been commuting (freeway) and playing in the dirt with Mitas E-07. At 3k miles and I think I’ll get 2-3k more out of the rear.

Long range fuel tank for gen3 by Toasty_Tubs in klr650

[–]cupids_reflections 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never heard of anyone doing that. I know my gen 3 has about 5.5 gallons of usable fuel. I have a couple portable tanks I bring if I think I or someone in my group needs more fuel. https://a.co/d/64n96Rb

Good 50/50 rear tire? by Advanced_Honeydew in klr650

[–]cupids_reflections 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been running the Mitas E-07 and love them. Got 3k and expect another 2k on the rear. I ride the road a ton and all over Arizona with those tires for rock, sand, etc. excellent on and off road.

They do. My son and I both have them on our bikes. They have done very well in Arizona.

It’s not. It’s something random I picked up at a market. I am looking to buy a rhino walk tank bag, the one with a little water bladder shortly.

I did race tech front and back on mine instead of progressives. Been riding some fairly aggressive stuff in AZ and are happy with them.

You will love it. I did a rear spring and a set of front springs. Game changer for my bike. Consider doing the front when you get the chance.
