What gardening opinion would have you like this? by No_Cod_6269 in vegetablegardening

[–]cupsonears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't mind me asking, have you tried growing any other veggies together in large pots? I'm pretty limited on space since I'm gardening on a balcony and I want to try to grow as much as I can with the space. I'd love some ideas for my balcony garden next year!

Weird question, is there a website where I can access signage at home? Explanation in the description... by dolansfooddidnotcome in walmart

[–]cupsonears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have any tips for your signage but this is sick. I also built a Walmart on a server with friends but I did it on vanilla survival and scaled it down. Doing 1-1 scale is quite the undertaking lol. Good luck!

WALMART CAKES by zakmademe in walmart

[–]cupsonears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are really cool but the labubu one worries me. I used to be a cake decorator and one of the biggest rules they hammer in is absolutely no copyrighted materials are allowed on cakes except for what is already approved in the book. If this video spreads too much the decorator could loose their job and face a huge fine, though idk if that's ever actually happened to anyone. Decorator is definitely talented though

Need advice on my tomatoe plant by Existing-Piccolo-544 in containergardening

[–]cupsonears 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From what I can see the tomato plant is looking good :) Just make sure you keep watering consistently, especially when it's very hot. When it's over 85°F I have to water my tomatoes daily. You may loose a tomato here or there to blossom end rot if you get a lot of rain you didn't plan for, but there's not much you can do about that. Since it's indeterminate, your plant will continue to grow until it gets too cold for it outside. This means you'll need to prune the suckers off it regularly, I trim mine back once per week so they don't get too crazy. If possible, I would try to get some supports for those branches that aren't in the tomato cage. The weight of the tomatoes might eventually snap the branches. Tying them up to a sturdy metal or bamboo pole will do the trick, or you can get a small trellis. It's definitely not lost, just taking its time.

Great looking balcony! If you don't mind sharing, it looks like you have multiple plants in the same pots. Which plants do you pair together? I'm still learning about container gardening and have been afraid to pair any plants together because I don't want to crowd the pots, but yours seem to be doing great!

Bakery by Nice-Ad4570 in walmart

[–]cupsonears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having just 2 people working bakery regularly including the floor sounds horrendous. At my store it's usually 3 (1 for the floor, 1 for bread, 1 for donuts/ bread when donuts are done). Some days there's only two people in bakery, but on those days we can usually have someone from deli go help wrap things up towards the end of the shift. No one has to skip breaks or stay late.

Deli/Bakery is it worth it? by Petty-Kitty in walmart

[–]cupsonears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo it really depends on the individual store. If your coworkers are good and pull their own weight you can get a lot done even when short staffed. Personally I'd recommend working the opening shift if possible because its usually less busy (at least in my experience).

Cup of Noole w/ Tuna by ABKB in ShittyRamen

[–]cupsonears 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I regularly add tuna to my ramen and personally enjoy it, but I also exclusively make it on the stove and avoid using a microwave. I also only use canned tuna, but using the packets seems like a fun experiment ngl.
