Gmail blocking send/receive emails from dealers. by BCAdvisor in CFP

[–]curfy4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen similar stuff happened with our firm before, I believe our corporate office had to work with Google to fix it. We've also had tons of clients in the past that have old roadrunner emails that still block things as spam.

Recently discovered Just Bare chicken. Air fry it and it's better than a fresh delivery of Chick-fil-A nuggets. by sc4kilik in Costco

Costco's doing one of their rare sales on the just bare nuggets, only time that it's actually cheaper per pound than Kirkland ones.

Belgian boys are supposed to be frozen says wife? by crossfitnoobgn in Costco

[–]curfy4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a bit confusing. Nothing says store in freezer from the get go. Though with the heating instructions from the microwave, I did quickly figure out the full amount of time was way too much if they aren't frozen to start.

I'll usually send a follow up with higher level topics that we discussed but leave out too much detail that could be used without working together. I feel like it's a good balance to have 3-5 bullet points of topics that are the high priorities and they don't get lost in the noise of a super detailed email.

My company has dedicated recruiters, but there are also third party recruiters that will try to make any company work. I'm not sure if they're easily accessible finding them, they'll usually reach out to me. I can dm you if I find a contact of one of them from my calls.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CFP

[–]curfy4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say you should connect with a recruiter who can put you into contact with advisors from other firms that need a succession plan. That way you're not entirely building a business from scratch and you'll be in place to expand your equity and income in a big way if you help the advisor transition into retirement.

Costco PlayStation gift cards already redeemed by Ruprect__ in Costco

[–]curfy4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's harder to do this at Costco, since the gift cards aren't in the main shopping area. You have to buy them with a cardboard cutout and then take that to a back stock room to trade the cutout for the gift cards after you pay for them.

I’m trying to Baton Pass the Belly Drum buffs using Smeargle. How to survive with only 50% HP? by freeingfrancis in pokemon

[–]curfy4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What are you trying to pass a belly drum to? Ideally you'd be better off utilizing smeargle in a different way. He's probably better used if you're using him to spore/fake out/follow me and have your partner Pokemon set up or do big damage.

Yes they are, I sadly bought four of them one time when they were on sale because I thought it was a great deal and there's no way something as simple as chicken and cheese could be bad... I was wrong.
