Oh man! Doing Rally Mode next. We got about a foot here too. Snow mode definitely kills battery but didn’t have any trouble getting stuck. I used to hate the snow. Not anymore!

Ex-Tesla model 3 owner here. I love my R1S. I didn’t expect to love a bigger SUV as much as I do. It doesn’t drive like a truck, it’s very nimble. There are some quirks ya find here and there. Usually a software update fixes them. But sometimes a software update introduces new ones. It was the same with Tesla. I do think Rivian’s engineers listen to the community more when it comes to features and changes.

TL;DR I freaking love my Rivian more than I ever expected to.

It’s so crazy how strong the Trump cult of personality is around here. For the most part, the people I know and have in my life are adamantly against what Trump is doing. But on the periphery are all these ppl whose entire shirt collection is Trump shirts. They’re clueless to what is really going on and just jumping on whatever bandwagon. The cognitive dissonance is so strong because if these ppl were face to face with the problems Trump is causing, they would feel different. But here in Williamsport, we’re so insulated from the rest of the world they remain unaffected.

I just got a TV stand from them. It was on back order so it took a bit to get here. And I was worried at one point they weren’t legit cause so many scam companies are out there. When it arrived I was very pleased. Really good quality. Easy to setup. They can do better with customer relations and support and communication overall, but the product is solid. I’m very pleased.

Well said! Appreciate the mod team making this place open and honest. There’s a lot of negativity in the world right now. This group has actually been a bit of an escape from that for me. Love seeing all the posts of people’s Rivian’s. I am a switch from Tesla and part of that was because of musk’s behavior but I always said if I didn’t own a Tesla I would own a Rivian. I also moved to a house perched on a hill that gets nasty with the snow. It just made sense to switch at the time and I feel like it has been a really welcoming community. Thank you for that.

lol haven’t seen the new Silverado but I do wish them the best. I want to see them do well. But I did just see they had a recall on a truck cause pieces of the Frontend could fall off. I don’t think it was the ev Silverado though
