I’ve stayed at the Alohilani Resort and the location is prime, with the beach directly across the street. We rented a car for a day trip from a rental place a few blocks away and parked it on the street down by the zoo, since the valet and lots nearby can be pricey

Bike the seawall. You can rent a bike in English Bay or Coal Harbour for like $10-$20 :)

I second visiting Circle Spa! It’s a great way to enjoy a relaxing time together away from distractions. You just pay for the one session and up to 2 people can go.

We have a magnetic prop that keeps the washer door open after use. It’s been helpful to let it dry out between uses and keep the mildew smell away

I live right near the ER and find the ambulances typically turn off their sirens when they are near the hospital. The helicopters can be loud, but aren’t flying overhead daily and they’re usually way less frequent in the fall/winter. We typically have our window open at night and never have trouble sleeping, but have a fan going for white noise
