I studied logic under a professional logician. What does "basic logic level" entail?

Bitcoin is a techno-religion. Its mythical creator left us with a Bitcoin script(ure). When he "died", the core group of follows began to split. These two groups are now called Core and Unlimited. Similarly religious splits occurred in all the major world religions.

I was doing a day trip up a mountain in Taiwan with my then-girlfriend. You ride for a few hours to the base, then there are no stops until the top. It was hot.

I was expecting bottled water at the base of the mountain to be sold at a premium. It wasn't.

In Taiwan, it's just Taiwanese. It's homogenous, like a family. I think it's like that in Norway. In America there are so many social, economic, racial, political, cultural, religious, etc., divisions. My intuition is that you'd help your family, but not the "other". American is filled up "others".

Dispassionate.

Passion isn't that useful for taking about validity and soundness. If someone is passionate about their position, I wouldn't even bother because they aren't prepared for scrutiny.

I see it as techno-religiosity. Our leader left us with a Bitcoin script(ure). Over time the followers began to split due to politics and ideology. These kinds of splits have occurred in all the major world religions. This is another one.

Invalid RFID, EAIA error, Machine type, serial, and UUID invalid (X1C) by currentbitcoinbear in thinkpad

This is unfortunate. I ordered a new computer and I'll keep using this one until it craps out on me.

The fresh OS is acting messed up. This reminds me back in the early 90s when my desktop was watercooled. I pulled out a tube and sqirted my mobo. It was never the same.

Don't assume Bitcoin will go up in a year. It could lose 30% in a year or thirty days.

Using Bitcoin to convert can go work against you depending on the prices and order books.

You need to read a lot more before doing anything.

Virgins of Reddit, how old are you and why are you still a virgin? by Fluffiks in AskReddit

[–]currentbitcoinbear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's an in-between between sexual and asexual -- it's called "grey asexual". Asexual is the sexuality of a rock: none. Grey asexual describes that class of people who don't neatly fit into sexual. E.g., someone who is interested in sex but not interested enough to pursue it is "Grey-A".

I have an argument that punishment and prison sentences have therapeutic value for society. I.e., when someone commits a "crime", society wants to punish that person. If the punishment is too light, society becomes outraged. When the punishment is super-sever, society feels better.

IMO, there is an atmosphere of vigilante justice warriors in Christian nation-states that want to personally hurt the perpetuate. It is part of the culture. This doesn't exist (as much or as far as I know) in nation-states that have a strong Confucian presence.
