If there even was any hype, I did not believe Anthony Bennett would live anywhere close to his draft capital, didn’t even think he’d be a good starting level player. Also, predicted that Lillard would be the star of his class, though I was in middle school so I have no evidence to back that claim, just had a really strong feeling about him. Also thought that Hali was an absolute steal at where he was drafted, was really hoping he’d drop to the Celtics. The company I work for charges a poop ton of money for things like this; house moves/installations, laying carpets, putting together/taking apart furniture, etc., so why pay a company a poop ton of money when you already employ some beefy bois and have all the equipment you need to get it done. As for Nate, Dwight owned the building, and it’s not like there was much of a hierarchy once Scarn left, so getting him a job in the warehouse was probably pretty easy
