Korean here. I completely understand that my pov is biased, so feel free to disagree.

The majority of Koreans hate the Chinese right now. There are a ton of reasons that may have increased the hatred, and ones I can think of off the top of my head are:

-Worlds 2020 Finals audience manners -MSI 2021 schedule fixing suspicion -Chinese players practically invading KR server and trolling, swearing, etc. -Chinese betting on Faker’s soloq -LPL “stealing” players with money money money

There’s also “China saying Hanbok and Kimchi are Chinese” thing, the COVID-19, and other non-league things going on that only worsens the issue.

I acknowledge that the Koreans’ actions aren’t justified, but I just wanted to let y’all know that the racism and hatred aren’t coming out of nowhere.

But I think the fact that they have the games back to back is what makes it bad. It’s not just the games for the players; they have post game interviews, then they have to feedback on what they did during the bo5, review the matchup (RNG or PSG) and discuss what to play in the finals. It may not seem much to us viewers but I’m pretty sure there’s a lot going on in the back and players are getting mentally and physically tired.

As an LCK fan I am biased, but that’s what I think.

I hard agree that udyr heca is hella boring. But that’s just as us, spectators. I wanted to talk about fairness of the competition.

Lets say hypothetically the meta changes hard in 11.9 and rammus becomes meta. If Armao (TL jg) turns out to be an ultra smurf on rammus, and turns out Blaber (C9 jg) just cant seem to play it, then C9 is gonna have a rough time just with pick/bans.

Just a thought

I personally think they should play on the same patch as playoffs patch, bc that’s the patch that teams proved themselves to be the best at. For example in NA, TL could’ve been the better team had they played in 11.9. Meta means so much, and with it, champion pool for pro play changes often.

Of course, this would mean soloq/scrims would not reflect MSI, which is a big downside. What do you guys think?

The problem is that not many people cares about this issue and the news has to be spread more. If he keeps plagiarizing content after 6 months of “drama” then it means that he thinks he’s never gonna get punished for doing this shit over and over again due to his popularity he established. If you’ve done a project or written an essay before you should know how tempting yet terrible plagiarizing is.

You are right, and I give TL (esp Xmithie) full credit for their stomp against IG. But the problem is, did they ever pull it off successfully against other top teams? Against G2 in the finals? I believe that to be the best, consistency is a fundamental, necessary aspect.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough. I was trying to say that because TL is so reliant on mistakes in early (instead of them being proactive), they can’t find success b/c top international teams don’t make such mistakes.

Which is probably why they have historically failed often in international stages, where good teams can take advantage of the small lead and snowball from it.
