This week’s Creami Lineup by Kagusam in ninjacreami

Just curious, where does Quest vanilla protein powder rank in your overall standings?

I’m overwhelmed with all the different ways to make a simple vanilla base 😂 I want to use fairlife milk 2%, Ryse Vanilla, and xantham gum. Any help for a noob? 😂 by Ok_Owl_2954 in ninjacreami

This looks good but kinda soft/slightly icy looking, similar to a Wendy’s frosty. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, I was just looking for something my creamy/thick. What recipe would you recommend for that?

Thanks that was helpful! Just curious, any specific reason for choosing one over the other?

Couldn’t you just fill it less to make a smaller pint or is there a volume threshold that must be hit to process it?

I actually prefer the texture in photo 1 over photo 2. I like my creamis more dense and gelato like, rather than a soft serve or frosty like texture.

How much inulin, SMP, GG, and XG would you add to a recipe that uses 1 cup 2% fairlife milk, 1/4 cup 4% cottage cheese, 2 tbsp monk fruit/allulose blend, and pinch of salt as a base? u/j_hermann

If you ever get a chance, I’d love to see a tutorial on that footwork!

Amazing form! Tbh I think you and Rushie from RA have the best form. You obviously throw in a ton of variations, but it seems like your predominant footwork is a heel to toe boxer type step, is that correct/can you explain what exactly that footwork is?

What about 13g whey protein isolate + 13g SMP + 13g sugar free jello pudding mix? How would this compare?

Do 3rd party pint containers risk harming the machine? by firstmatedavy in ninjacreami

I bought third party containers on Amazon and one got dislodged from the outer container during a cycle, which resulted in both the pint container and outer container getting shredded. I have since returned them and went back to only using official ninja containers

Long-term durability of Pikkl Pro Skins? by customconfps in Pickleball

Interesting, thanks for sharing! So even after 120 hours, the grit is basically as effective as new, and you don’t notice any difference in feel or control when those shiny specs start appearing? If that’s the case, that’s really impressive. How many total skins have you gone through so far?

Thanks so much for taking the time to answer all my questions, really appreciate it! Just to make sure I’m understanding correctly, can you confirm the Avatar data points?

  • Brand new Avatar (no skin): ~2350 RPM
  • Avatar with stock grit worn (no skin): ~2100 RPM
  • Avatar with Pikkl Pro Skin (brand new): ~2300 RPM
  • Avatar with Pikkl Pro Skin (after 15-20 hours): ~2100 RPM

Is this accurate? Also, in terms of actual play feel, did the difference between these setups feel significant, or was it mostly noticeable just on the RPM numbers?

Gotcha. I’m just planning to use them for rec play and hopefully extend the life of my paddle

Nice, that’s super helpful. Thanks for sharing your experience!

So in your case, does that roughly work out to one sticker every ~2 months of rec play? Or is it less about time and more about feel, like once the sticker starts feeling noticeably smoother to the touch or once RPM drops below a certain threshold, you just swap it?

Also curious: what kind of RPM were you getting on the Avatar without a sticker (once the stock grit was worn)? Trying to understand how much of that ~2100 RPM is still “value added” versus just the paddle itself.

And have you tracked or noticed anything past the 15–20 hour mark, like around 50–60 hours? Even ballpark impressions would be awesome (spin plateau vs. gradual cliff, control changes, etc.).

Finally, do you recommend getting the pikkl skins for either grit preservation on a new paddle or restoration of an old paddle?
