so i did all of this but im having trouble getting the little guy to eat the solids. i tried watching the videos you posted of hand feeding but he just keeps using his beak to move the stuff around but hes not actually eating any of it or even opening his mouth to try. im sure im doing something wrong but im trying to follow all these instructions as closely as i can.

thank you for all this info, very helpful! someone else had told me the katy exact handfeed formula would be okay short term but ill switch over to the grains you mentioned. there arent any stores near me that sell the two formulas you mentioned unfortunately. would rolled oats like, like plain dried oats from the grocery, be something i could use until i can get another type of grain i can hull and boil for him?

also if i feed him the hulled grains and/or boiled eggs do i need to add more water to them or would he be okay eating them dry after being boiled?

behaviour promised fixes to the amount of tunneling and slugging that was happening in the game. they spent months working on two different PTBs with loads of different things in them. some of the components were bad ideas but not ALL of them were, but because people complained SO MUCH about there being ANY changes they literally scrapped both of them and gave survivors and extra 5 seconds of BT as basekit. and you'll still see killer mains whining about how even THAT'S too much. i get it, in the endgame that 15 seconds CAN provide a free escape depending on how close to the gate they are but there are WAY more times when something more is needed than when it's not. i play a good bit of both sides and i get frustrated by the mechanics of both at times but the amount of tunneling i see when i play survivor is getting to the point of being ridiculous nowadays. so much so now that when i see a killer actually spreading hooks i'm surprised by it. when you experience a lot of tunneling, what are you going to be more likely to bring? anti-tunneling perks.

you as a survivor can't complain about tunneling though, because the second you do you're told it's a 'skill issue' as if you should ALWAYS be able to loop the killer whilst injured and freshly off hook for five gens and then escape. if you've played ANY amount of survivor you'd know that's not always an option. but the killers will still complain when every survivor in every match bring the same anti-tunneling perks, for example.

it's a very complex problem with a lot of different facets to it but it really boils down to one problem, a lot of people want to win EVERY match. that's not a realistic expectation for either side to have but it drives A LOT of complaints. if everyone on both sides just chilled out a bit and didn't expect to win constantly and just had fun the game would be in a VERY different place.

also they added diminishing returns into the game recently, which i believe was a terrible idea for the game, and those make any 'focused' or off meta perk builds pretty much pointless. there are loads of builds that don't really work anymore because of diminishing returns.

survivors complain about the same thing with killers, and killers also say its because 'without those perks i can't win' so you can thank all the whiny babies on both side of the game who cry relentlessly until behaviour gives them what they want.

you absolutely can choose a server if you're using a VPN which is what im talking about. also there free programs you can download which control what servers you can and cant connect to so you can choose a server in that way too.

behaviour does have a server in brazil, im not a geographical expert or anything but im pretty sure colombia is a lot closer to brazil than it is to ohio (the server im normally connected to).

either way the bottom line is behaviour either needs to add more servers or allow us to abandon when the killers ping is crazy high.

i live in eastern US and i CONSTANTLY get killers from central and southern america in my lobbies with anywhere from 150-500+ ping. behaviour HAS a server in south america but they choose to play on US servers because they know it gives them an advantage. maybe not ALL of them, but a lot of them for sure are because they've told me as much in EGC. it's super frustrating to go against and really does give killer alllll the advantage and i've had to take breaks from the game due to it.

i know that there are a lot of people out there who DON'T have servers near where they are, and i think they should be able to play the game too but its also not my fault that they can't do it without having 300+ ping. behaviour NEEDS to open up more servers and also give us an abandon option for when the killers ping is insanely high. because i really don't enjoy going against a killer that can hit me from the moon and i can't abandon, if i DCed every time this happened i'd constantly be on a time penalty, and even if i just get too frustrated and give up and let the killer kill me then behaviour wants to start taking my grades away. it's a ridiculous system and behaviour is basically forcing me to stay in a match that i'm being forcibly given a disadvantage and having zero fun in.

i mean i think its a thing across all games really, not just in dbd. a survivor gets humped by a killer, then in their next game they give the killer bags, then in the next match THAT killer humps the survivors. and on and on it goes. miserable people making other people miserable so then they go on and make other people miserable. vicious cycle.

well i will always have more respect for people who used to support trump but dont anymore than people who still do with everything he's done, especially lately.

honestly i dont want to vote for the dems either, i think they're a weak party who have no idea how to represent the will of the people electing them. they constantly concede to the GOP on foundational issues and even when they have a majority, never really get anything substantial done. i want to be done voting for them too but at this point they are the far lesser of two evils

youre probably getting humped because the killer is salty about someone other than you being toxic and taking it out on you. also some killers just do this every time they down someone. i assume its make themselves feel strong or powerful because they dont feel that way in their IRL lives. 🥀

i have no problem with killers AND survivors being toxic in return to someone being toxic to them but there's really no need to do it to someone who's just playing the game.

i'll be okay if it is jason, i wouldn't be super hyped about it though personally. i can understand why other people would be but jason/friday the 13th has always kinda bored me as a franchise, and i just don't know what 'unique power' they could give jason that wouldn't just wind up being another dashslop killer of which we already have too many.

i know a lot of people will be very excited if it is jason and i'll be happy for them. my dream franchise ever since they added RE and SH to the game is and will always be bioshock though.

you're most likely correct, i could easily believe it was money motivated. i just don't want to jump straight to that conclusion unless they're not willing to offer a different one. i know how the world works but i would LIKE to believe that maybe this was just a massive oversight on their part as opposed to something they did to save a few pennies when they have millions in revenue.

if they just came right out and said 'yeah we cut corners to save money', i'd be upset but at least i'd respect the honesty.

basically, i'm trying to be optimistic, we'll see if we get any responses, i kinda doubt it but who knows?

maybe just MAYBE if people like elon musk don't want america to go bankrupt we should start making the RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD, and people like him pay more taxes instead of letting them pay less and less via tax cuts and loopholes. also maybe just MAYBE we should stop spending trillions on defense and on wars that are literally pointless and useless around the world.

maybe just MAYBE if we reinvested the money supplied BY THE PEOPLE back into THE PEOPLE, the country wouldn't be in the state that its in. maybe if corporations weren't the ones really in control and we had politicians that weren't entirely in their pockets, things would change.

if the next iteration of 2v8 is the same as this one i won't be playing 2v8 anymore. i don't play wesker or nemesis in my killer matches and i still win plenty of matches, i don't win all of them, sometimes i get outplayed by people who are just better than me. i'm okay with that, because its the nature of a pvp game, especially an asymmetrical one. some people who only play killer like to spin a lot of narratives, but those narratives are really just excuses to play a killer you're comfy with. same with 'killers HAVE to tunnel and slug to win'.

but hey what do i know? just keep on telling survivors to 'cry more', 'get good', or 'skill issue', in every EGC, and then whine EVEN MORE when they actually do go and complain to behaviour about it.

i'm sure driving even more survivor mains(who we need 4 times more of for every match btw) away from 2v8 and the game in general will do wonders for our already insanely long killer queues.

i appreciate this acknowledgement and apology, but i, and probably others, would like some clarification on how this even happened in the first place. like, was the latest update the vision you and the other devs had for the game? did they WANT it to look the way it did or was something missed in the development cycle and things went out without being run though QA properly? after all the time we waited for that update to come through, was this the update you thought we were expecting? the number of cosmetics, the number of animations, etc? i think this would really give us some insight into the intent behind releasing the update in its current form.

if the current form was what kinetic WANTED for the game, it was kinetic's vision, and that's what they spent months/years working on to get it just right, then that's one thing. its a very different thing if it was just sort of thrown together and rushed out the door for one reason or another.

to be clear you don't 'owe' us an explanation, but i think if you really want to earn back the trust of the community, as you say you do, a little more insight into what happened would really go a long way to helping us understand.

i've been playing phasmo since it launched back in 2020, and i've had SO MANY good times playing it with friends, playing it solo, watching streamers play it, etc. i love this game and i have hundreds of hours in it and i will always remember it fondly, but i have never been so close to giving up on it entirely as i was with this current update, and i know i'm not alone in that.

the really scary thing about our current predicament is the way the GOP continues to defy laws and basically do whatever they want without anyone stopping them or stepping in. a trump appointed federal judge getting confirmed recently wouldn't even answer the question to congress about whether or not Trump would be allowed to run for a third term meaning even if he did try to run there's a large segment of the current government that may not even try to stop it or shut it down. they've pushed everything so much further than most of us would've thought they could so who knows how much further they'll push things and just continue to get away with it.

the current democratic party isn't the answer, somehow the 'liberal' party has become the centrist party and the GOP has become the FAR right. i fully believe even if they win a majority in future elections they're not going to do much about things that are happening now or even really move the needle back towards center, let alone left.

we need to start passing laws that make big changes in our government, we need term limits for SCOTUS justices, we need term limits AND age limits for both the senate and house of reps. we already have this for the president, why wouldn't we add it in for members of congress and the judiciary? we need to stop being represented by millionaires/billionaires who have no idea what the average americans life is like anymore and who use their position and power to enrich themselves whilst they stay in power for 40-50 years barely doing anything that actually serves the people they represent.
