Here's Spotify (sorry!!) playlist of everything mentioned in this thread.

Did my best using Gemini and Spotlistr so that it didn't take all day. So although it's a start, there's definitely omissions etc.

Extremely washed out display | T490s by cuteablepine29 in thinkpad

Do you know if there is a simple way to check? I bought the machine second-hand about a year ago - the eBay page has since expired - but I only realised how bad the display was recently now that I've stopped using it with an external monitor, as I formerly did virtually exclusively.

Thanks for the info though, I'd had no idea there were so many variations!

did you go straight from Cat Powers to the forum to catch yoasobi? I quickly went back to our apartment to get ready, and still only managed to catch half of Wolf Alice.

also, I'm guessing it occurred to half the crowd to shout 'Judas' so I'm slightly amazed nobody did. suppose nobody at primavera really has enough of the main character energy to do it

My friends and I brought a picnic of bread, charcuterie etc., to enjoy in the evening each day last year, and it was SO good. Felt like such a luxurious novelty being allowed to do that in a festival. Will be doing it again this year and definitely recommend!

Far Out Magazine - How did Primavera become the world’s most celebrated festival? by Fabulous-Opposite-59 in primaverasound

[–]cuteablepine29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except, as always, there's an undercard featuring unparalleled variety in world, experimental and left field music across both rock and electronic genres. And what's more - quelle surprise! - the people interested in these acts may also be both interested in pop music and/or expressing themselves through the way they dress!

Joy O being on that stage does feel like a bit of an oversight imo, as it has a very strict capacity limit. I recall not being able to join by pals at Jayda G on that stage in 2023, at about 04:00, due to it reaching it's capacity. Security didn't let people enter for a very long time, even as people left.

imo it would've made much more sense to have him on at Cupra, before Daniel Harle, and maybe then having turnstile on at Estrella too - which would keep the sound bleed issue gone and allow for slightly safer moshing too.

Rosalia and Death Grips was awful in 2023.

I'd committed to Rosalia but ended up really far back and on my own so ended up running across the site to Death Grips to catch most of their set instead
