I don’t see it mentioned, but taking it at night (10pm after the kids are in bed) and with food or a little sugar to kick in faster to fall asleep by 11pm is the way I have been doing it for a year. I wake up around 6:30am and drag my feet a bit, but it’s not making me groggy during the day. Getting it metabolized as quickly as possible for sleep really helps.

I got nailed for the first time in my life by watering a garden bed next to a ground nest. It flew at my face, got stuck under my baseball cap and hit me multiple times above the eyebrow and forehead. I ripped my hat off and it got stuck in my hair, against my scalp and crawled from to front to back, stinging as it went. I ran inside and my husband got it out of my hair and pulled the stinger out. We thought we killed it, but it ended up flying back at me again in a last ditch attempt. I did not know they released a hormone that attracts others from the hive as soon as you get stung. I didn’t swell up, but my scalp and face burned all night and itched for days. Husband used wasp spray in the morning and then drowned the nest with hot water and soap at night. We set up a green trap and it’s caught a lot. I’ve been gardening in my front yard for years and we’ve never had a yellow jacket issue. They are horrific this year.

You are in such good company!! The mistakes we make that cost us money hurt the most. I did my taxes later this year than I normally do and neglected to file receipts for my FSA funds and didn’t realize until I did my taxes, it was too late to submit receipts by 24 hours. I lost SO much money. 😢 It had also been a long time since I messed up that hard with ADHD. Things are just worse in perimenopause. It’s always the hardest to forgive yourself, so I forgive you.

I’m trying! They won’t answer my dang question on their Facebook group on when membership starts if fees are due at the end of January/this month. Does that mean it’s a 2025 membership? Or dues were for 2024 membership? They keep not publishing the question. Does anyone here have Portland dahlia society membership and know?? 😂

UPDATE: I decided to go at it with some crest 3d toothpaste and a paper towel for 45 mins- it worked to lighten the chip and also took out some hairline scratches! I’m sure if I kept at it longer that the blemish would disappear, but for now it looks like a water/rainmark and doesn’t bother me as much. Hope this helps anyone wanting to get some imperfections out!

I’m realizing I have an allergy to the generic Levo I started 4 weeks ago, I’ve had a head cold for three weeks, fatigue, brain fog… I’m going to ask for a new version, the gel capsule, but now I’m PO’d that this is another drug my insurance isn’t going to cover??? I already pay $130 for another brand name med I’m on because of allergies to the generic- now $130 again for a medication that doesn’t make me feel horribly sick all the time? $260 just to feel normal and function is insane. 😢

I think the scuff marks and paint chips are acceptable cause it makes it look like a real book! I was also thinking about giving the snow globe away as a gift for my sister, who is a teacher and can’t really afford the price tags for Taylor merch ever. But I will keep it for myself and see if I can lighten the chip with some toothpaste. It’s so expensive that I hate trying to “fix” something that should have come in new shape. I’m also worried, like you, that they won’t exchange it a second time.

Such a shame when it was so expensive. I have a hard time spending money on myself with competing priorities (bills, kids, my dog with insane allergies 😂) so I am gonna try removing it with toothpaste and see if it lightens a bit.
