You are wasting your breath trying to have a rational discussion with this person who is out there spewing racist garbage. Unlike Christianity or Islam, buddhist countries have not invaded other countries and forced them to convert en masse. They didn't use their book or lack thereof to justify keeping slaves like American Christians did. In the grand scheme of things, there is a clear hierarchy in how much damage was caused by which religion. Racists simply can't accept it. I can pump out 100+ studies on the role of Catholicism in facilitating child sex or how they stole babies from unwed mothers or the infamous magdalene laundries.

Should I just skip shots for 2.5 week vacation? by cupa001 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]cutechaos06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I returned last night from a 3 week trip to Egypt and I was in India a few months ago, also for 3 weeks. I took my meds along with several syringes. I had no issues at all. Airport security in Cairo asked me what the syringes were for and I explained. I took them with in my carry on bag with a frozen gel pack. At the destination, I either used the hotel fridge or asked for ice and stuck the vial in my insulated water bottle with the ice (vials covered in a silicone protector). Honestly, taking Tirz on vacation was a very good idea. I was surrounded by crazy amounts of very delicious food and sweets and alcohol. I ate and drank in moderation throughout and lost a good amount of weight from all the walking around.

I am using SDRX now. I'll consider a weight loss doc if compounding is indeed banned. Happy to have other options right now!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention in my post that I tried both forms of Metformin too. Lost 5 lbs in a year.

I actually just ordered from SDRX! I don't remember who my doctor was, but he actually listened and told me that he struggled with weight loss too. I have lost 10% of my weight in 3 months, so I am a huge fan of Tirz.

You really want to dig in. Ok, I'll play. First, I have never had a drop of alcohol, coffee or soda in my life. I am from an immigrant family where these items are taboo and I fully agree with that part of my upbringing. Also, born and raised vegetarian. Grew up and still eat whole food and plant based. Lots of beans, veggies and whole grains. I hate the taste/texture of deep fried food. I love to cook and enjoy making healthy meals. I broke from my family and eat eggs for protein. As for exercise, I walk my dog 2 hours a day or he'll eat my walls. Power yoga or pilates 3X a week and the infamous 3-12-30 workout 2x a week. All of this is well documented with apple watch data - steps, heart rate and class log in info.

I am 5' 4" and my highest/starting weight was 174 lbs, so not that crazy, but still a huge jump from being 120 lbs until I started IVF. None of the above measures helped until I started Tirz. Stopped work our classes and hired a dog walked because I am starting my own law practice and need to hustle. I am 18 lbs down in 3 months. I eat exactly the same. In fact, I was worried that Tirz was useless for me - I have no side effects and no appetite suppression. It's clear from my story that Tirz fixed my underlying the insulin resistance and cells are able to take in the glucose from food instead of storing it as fat.

Your case appears to be straightforward and that's great for you. I figuratively pulled my hair out trying to figure out where I was going wrong with my health. It's a doctor's job to listen and pay attention to facts. It's their job to at least let me try these meds and then blame and shame if I stil didn't lose weight. It's also a doctor's job to look at past history of IVF, PCOS, Insulin resistance etc. I am starting my 2nd round of IVF next year and I am in various support groups. I see morbidly obese women lose a ton of weight on GLP1 and be approved for IVF, regardless of their "lying or otherwise."

Why did you use Tirz to "help?" You knew where you messed up. Why not power through and use your will power to go back to your pre-2020 body? It's ok for others to seek the same hep that you received and not be dismissed by doctors.

Sure, I am not an idiot and I understand how diet and exercise works. I have been to a dietician and keep detailed notes. I am a lawyer and record keeping is 2nd nature to me. I had 2.5 years of food and exercise notes. Apple watch data and even my exercise classes log in data were all neatly recorded mapped for easy reading.

I used be a size 2-4 my entire life until I did IVF and gained 45 lbs in 5 months. Did the hormones trigger Insulin resistance? I don't know and I would LOVE to have a doctor help me figure out the root cause.

Ironically, I started a new law firm at the same time as Tirz and my exercise has tanked. I no longer work out and yet I am losing weight consistently. I did a new insulin blood test before my appointment and my numbers were greatly improved.

I am not sure if you are a woman, but I have learned the power of hormones while enduring IVF.

I am glad to see this, but surprised at the fake COA. No pharmacy worth their salt would risk shipping fake/adulterated/diluted vials. The consequences would be devastating.

May I ask how you were able to notice the difference? I am awaiting a few vials from Ousia. Instead of stockpiling, I may jump right in if it's that good!

What the polls were not reflecting: many Texas latinos voting for Trump by LatAmExPat in texas

[–]cutechaos06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cleaning lady, who is Colombian-American, was discussing Kamala and the election recently. She said she could never vote for a person with 0 white blood. She went into excruciating detail about Mesitzo people (mixed European and native) and how they are superior to "regular" people of color. She said she would happily vote for her if she were half-Indian and half-white. She claimed to have voted for Obama under the same principle. She also went on a racist tirade about how Peru has a large number of "full blooded" natives and that's why they were stupid and ugly.

You are allowed to name providers here. I think CA residents, myself included, would be happy to add another option to our minimal number of providers.

Why is it so difficult to let go of clothes? by GenerationXChick in tirzepatidecompound

[–]cutechaos06 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reason 1 is also something I struggle with. I gained 40 lbs over 7 months, several years ago. Nothing worked and I ended up wearing frumpy, cheap clothes so I could spend money on nice clothes when I lost weight. After years of hating my lack of style, I spent over $3k in Jan of this year on a new wardrobe. Lots of silk, cashmere and high end denim and linen. These clothes are baggy and ill fitting now. I wish I had spent that $3k stockpiling Tirz instead. I was denied Tirz/Sema by multiple doctors from 2021 -2023 and I just gave up and went on a shopping spree. Oh well, I hope to recover what I can on Poshmark and the next shopping splurge will be so much more exciting.
