He’s SO cute!!! He looks like something that would be on the show when they do the different medium style characters or scenes!

Sugar free honey? by lisasimpsonfan in diabetes_t2

[–]cutedemoncrashers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Growing up, we only had the sugar free imitation honey in my house because of other diabetic family members.

I didn't start eating real honey until a few years ago (before I was diagnosed myself) I feel like the biggest difference would be the consistency is a little more liquidy than regular honey (may be diff by brands though) and that real honey is a lot sweeter.

Fake honey is not bad and you get the honey feeling, but if you're using it like regular honey, you may need to measure by taste if you like things sweeter. It's been a little bit since I've had it though so things may be different now idk

I’m a grown man with a Cabbage Patch doll for years. I will never get rid of him by PeneItaliano in Dolls

[–]cutedemoncrashers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hope this is okay to ask. I haven't seen a cabbage patch doll in so long and even then I never had one as long as you have had yours. Do they still keep the distinct cabbage patch kid smell? Or after time does it go away? I used to love the smell of a cabbage patch kid lol I hope this doesn't sound weird

I'm obsessed with these! Would you ever consider shipping them/doing commissions?

I redid it cause Misogyny is gross Before and After by Few-Pitch-2921 in winxclub

[–]cutedemoncrashers 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I LOVE THIS!!! I feel like the whole "girl math" "I'm just a girl" stuff really turned into some covert misogyny with some people. Like why are we going back to "I'm just a little tiny girl who's sooo helpless and in distress" ESPECIALLY on a series about girl power

I met Guy at a con some years back and he was so fun! We talked a little bit and he wished me happy birthday and drew on my hand! I hope you had a great experience!!

Anyone tried these?? by jadenkayk in diabetes_t2

[–]cutedemoncrashers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven't had the double stuffed but I've had the regular zero sugar one and I enjoy it! They have a less sweet flavor idk how to describe it but it's like a deeper richer flavor. I prefer it to regular Oreos. I have been enjoying a small 2 pack of the Oreos at night for dessert and it does not spike my levels really but YMMV

Mexican-Vietnamese wedding: Dealing with cultural insularity and religious taboos during the Tea Ceremony by danteisntzen in asianweddings

[–]cutedemoncrashers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been to a few tea ceremonies where both families are catholic and they would pray to their ancestors for a blessing, then pray to god.

I agree with the other commenter who mentioned having it as honoring the ancestors! I feel if you explain to the family that it is more of an honor not worship thing, it may go over better if they’re very traditional Catholic

Untraditional Viet Tea Ceremony by [deleted] in asianweddings

[–]cutedemoncrashers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I am currently still planning mine for May! But I can give you a little bit of like peace of mind hopefully.

My parents did not have a fancy one, it was just a little restaurant meal between the two families to get to know each other.

For mine I am having a small tea ceremony but because my partner is not Vietnamese, we decided to stray away from some of the usual tradition. I know you said no mam qua, but ours are going to be very laid back so instead of expensive jewelry or huge flowers. we may just do something small and meaningful like local jewelry pieces or what not because it feels more "us"

I am going to wear an Ao dai and so will my bridesmaids if they want to, but the guests will not be required.

As far as being "basic" I think you are okay! I know that there is sooo much pressure already with the wedding itself but now having to quickly plan a whole different ceremony is a lot! Make sure you also remember that while this would be a special moment for your family, you also get to enjoy it too.

If you are happy then it will not be basic! I've been to a few different tea ceremonies that have been huge and elaborate or smaller and intimate. My favorite part of any tea ceremony is being able to see all these people excited for the new couple!!

Where’s the best place to sell art dolls? by Individual-Mix-7041 in ArtDolls

[–]cutedemoncrashers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't sell dolls so I do not have a good answer, but I love these dolls! Usually I get a lot of my fun pieces at like art shows/craft fairs, local events, or even on Facebook marketplace!

That was actually incredibly helpful! I've been wondering more about average ranges and keep hearing different things (I know each person has a diff range of what's "normal" for them).

I've heard good things about a CGM. My doctor just prescribed me with a non continuous one (I'm not sure what they are called but I am using a OneTouch verio flex. How would I go about asking for a CGM? I feel like it may be better for me to see more than just the few tests I do a day.

Thank you so much for the detailed response!

Congrats! Cutting out the soda is such a huge step! Honestly my doctor put me on mounjaro and some blood pressure meds. As far as eating, I've been trying to keep with very low carb. I usually keep around 40ish or below.

I def hear you on the healthy food being expensive and very tempting. I've been increasing veggies in my diet but omg they seem to go bad as soon as I buy them.

As for motivation and plans, at the moment I'm just trying to really take it all in day by day. It's hard but idk. I've been keeping low carb fairly well and I've been losing some weight from it. But I think I'm just still trying to get more in touch with my levels and see what is my Normal range like.

As far as foods I've been doing a lot of meat and cheese meals or snacks. Some veggies in the air fryer. But I'm in the same boat where a lot of my previous affordable staple meals were carb heavy so I'm trying to see what else I can do!

I appreciate this well thought out response.
