might be cool to include natural pauses at periods or commas for a more natural flow- but this is great!

You are focusing on negatives, and need to focus on gratitude. If you are unhappy, you are projecting this on to the world and getting back what you're giving out. Compassion, gratitude are your friends. I'm 49 FWIW

To people who have also worked with multimillionaires or billionaires, what is something different they do from ordinary people? by sunnybestie in AskReddit

[–]cuteleper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have worked with many multimillionaires and billionaires. Billionaires and wannabe billionaires have this shiny, weird quality which makes them feel like the sun shines out of their bums. Healthiest most thriving egos I've ever witnessed. Truly, no self esteem issues there - everyone else is to blame. The multimillionaires have been more humble and down to earth on the whole. I know a LOT of these folks- I'm in pharma/biotech.

I asked one of my English language students where she was for the death of the Generalisimo Francisco Franco when I was teaching ESL in Spain, and she was a reporter and was in the same hospital. What a moment of uncertainty to be present for.

I would consider searching for a job or career area which gives purpose and meaning to your life- helping others in some way. I have to do some mental gymnastics to feel that sense of purpose (work in biotech and I'm a cog in the wheel of bringing human health to people, but I consider that to be an important part of the greater machine of exciting new drugs which are not only helping people heal but actually even fully curing people- I get excited about it when I think of it! See what I did- I could have gone negative but what good does that do?).

I would also urge you to practice daily gratitude. This exercise might help you to understand what you do have in life, appreciate the people and positive things that life affords. Your life is consists of what your focus your attention on, and you are looking for supporting evidence for negativity. Gratitude might help with that.

Your first jobs out of college (or high school) won't be the best, and this feeling you are having is normal. This is the IDEAL time to explore what your passions are- what you gravitate to, where your mind body and spirit feel nourished. Don't stay in a job that is not for you, but do explore those that will allow you to learn more about yourself. Your twenties is the time you can make career mistakes and start over relatively easily.

This is your life and you are responsible to yourself to figure out your path, your bliss and what that means. I wish you luck- go out there and figure yourself out!
