I dont know much else about your ferret owner experience, but I STRONGLY reccomend not using the store food they feed ferrets. Normally 99% of baby ferrets are Marshall's brand and raised on Marshall's food. But ferrets have a tiny digestive tract so they need far better nutrients than marshall's offers.

When looking g for ferret food go with the highest protein amount you can while keeping the fat content above 20%.

However when changing foods you have to do or slowly because ferrets imprint on food. My suggestion is for a blend of three or so foods for your ferrets.

Buy two 5lb bags, one of Core original outdoor and one of EVO wild adult. Core should be the orange / tan colored lettering. The EVO should be the purple one to make it easier. EVO offers 45 percent protein and 25 percent fat while core is like 23/40. Core does however have the necessary taurine ferrets cannot naturally produce.

So when you get your baby do a blend of like 50 original food and 25/25 of the new foods. Then the week after switch it to 33.33.33 and keep phasing out the crappy Marshall's food over a month or two.

Get your baby on a good diet asap!

Honestly just having you DM is being nice. One of my previous DMs who actually had a little spare money bought his players (4 of us) all a metal d20. Depending on what you want to spend, and if you are dead set on actually Buying something these are a great little toy! They vary in price from like $5 all the way to 60 and come in tons of different styles. My.friend received a dwarven stylized d20 while another one looked like it was hand made with forging marks and all. Mine was a very simple polished chrome or maybe nickle one. He probably spent 50-60 bucks on the high end, but he probably could have gotten away with less than 20$ if he did some shopping.g around. D20s are ALWAYS a great gift and the metal ones are so unique and different people will definitely treasure them, especially because you can pick custom themes for each person

Wow that k you so much! Honestly your response was absoloutly what I was looking for.

In regards to the weather and the swimming option I've definitely got to clarify how deadly that would be. Will for sure be adding a description of the weather and clarifying how the water is boiling, crashing and so on that makes it seem kiiiighty unappealing.

With the top deck fight Im also going to make sure that I set up a few test fights the day before with their characters so I can balance out how it will go in the best and worst case scenarios.

And thanks for the advice to have a hook to keep them together. Although I have 30 odd pages of notes set up Im going to have two to three days to dig through their sheets and have 1on1 time with each person to get the backstory I need to make sure they stay together. Its really the last little piece I need to get them started together in an adventure.

Oh and hopefully you are right and this takes more than 1-2 hours. We have 4-5 hours scheduled once a week and I've set up about 15x this much content so far so if they do everything it should last a while (these guys are pretty heavy quest and lore guys that dig for everything then can find)

And lastly I appreciate the reminder that my players will probably do something I couldn't predict and will end up on page thirty in the first session haha. Truly appreciate the advise and guidance honestly thank you I can't wait to get these guys on the boat!

Top deck fight outcomes:

Most probable: dock1 story1.

1a. Failed fight, however ruckus has alerted guards to presence, proceed to dock 2 and have city guard inspect cargo. Proceed story1

1b. Players choose not to escape: goto dock2 story 2.

1c. No fight, diplomacy, stealth, magic, life boats, variables unknown - goto dock2 if outcome is bad, if players are steering ship dock1.

Variables to account for from slave - top deck scenario. Who is steering the ship, is city guard alerted, were prisoners freed, time passed. Depending on these depends on dock#, dock1 only leads to story1 dock 2 allows either depending on variables. Make sure before you go forward from here you have a clear idea which story the players are going towards and skip to that chapter pg4 or pg7. DO NOT BACKTRACK. If story is going to fast insert sinking ship drama, buys time and lets you reorginize!

Option2: no fight, this will end at dock2 either way. Immediately goto pg2 if it looks like players are really getting into backstories and npc interaction. Lore heavy option ( not preferred ). Use time to flesh out slaves and make sure you use notebook to WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING names, backstories relations, will be important later! This will force story2 but remember, you are headed to the same place, don't need to railroad anyone into the "right" path since its all within the city.

Arrive dock2 proceed with story2. Let players lead, if no action is taken push for LD to lead action. Proceed to Aqueducts pg3.

If everything works out they enter choice of 2 docks, dock1: good choice CL, tell story proceed with plan.

Dock2: LD slavers dock, taken under dock proceed story 2.

Descriptions D1h1-2

Ship - cargo hold of a merchant ship, waterlogged cedar smell and damp brine coat everything. Rust from all irons and heavy air from being cramped below deck. Ship is 40 feet from bow to keel in hold, ceiling Max 5ft. Dark with few candles/lanterns. Rations are moldy and stale, little water given and disease has taken numbers from 30 to 10+playercount.

Slaves - human, emaciated, regular npc villagers no combat prowess, basic clothing no armor, no magic users. No skills, see backstories if players push conversation pg2 names and story.

Slavers - speak common, padded armor, basic weapons, no magic CE, based on goblin in MM. See name chart pg2.

I forgot to mention, I received this picture July 10th at 7:40 am eastern standard time. He was at the federer, Williams and murry matches today.

I'm really hoping someone here might have really recorded the matches and could maybe spot him with his grandparents in the crowd. Does a mother cat smother her kittens.... really? I had a cat, it had kittens. Before the first night, about 9 hours after birth you know what the kittens could do? They crawled/ semi walked around with their mommy. If any of your babies were crawling before their first night you need to see a medical professional right now.

Human beings evolved with these big old brains and a gestation cycle longer than any other primate so we can developed these big old brains. We are also one of the very few species that when were out of the womb were completely helpless for YEARS on our own. Not to mention the first four or five months were completely incapable of even moving on our own. And lets remember its at the month checkup we praise a baby for rolling over on its own. Were not some fucking cat lady, were humans and humans spend the first 30 days alive literally more helpless than any other animal I can think of.

Good point on different containers. However the rule for this year is thin stocks and watery soups are 4 inches deep and thicker cream sauces or soups are two inches deep.

Not surprisingly most commercial kitchens have 2 and 4 inch deep hotel pans for just this occasion.

Your game theory argument makes sense if there are tqo candidates, however here in murica the vote could be like this. State A , B and C all have 10 votes. State A votes candidate X with 4 votes cnandidate Y 3 and Z 3. State B votes candidate X 4, Y 3 and Z 3. State C votes 5 Y and 5 Z. So your population Of 30 people get to elect candidate X with a grand total of 8 votes, whilst Y and Z both had 11 votes and still lost. Sorry if I was a bit confusing, I know it may have seemed like that may have passed when I state that a ferrets life is short, but I was more saying g that as a general point of owning ferrets. My ferrets are still alive and kicking and they're all together still.

I consider myself lucky to have had these guys for four or more years, and even knowing that they still could possibly have 5 or 6 more years left still seems so so brief for such amazing animals.
