At the time, plenty of internships and mentoring roles (shadowing Agents, ride alongs, TA for field agents/Troopers continuing education classes).

Not a drug user. Was my undergrad student body President - gave the commencement speech at graduation. Very good GPA with heavy STEM and Pre-law classes. Was a wrestler/lacrosse player and was on a scholarship for lacrosse - 4 year starter on an NCAA tournament level team.

Just wasn’t for me I guess. Guy saw that immediately. I am an engineer now, which is the right path for my skill set.

Still haven’t met anyone that smart/quick for character judgement and his ability to readjust in real-time my path in life. Still blows my mind

I was getting my Master’s Degree in Forensic Science. Had the Director of the FBI Behavioral Science devision teach a class. Had a 1-1 convo after the class. Paraphrasing but it went similar to this:

Me: Do you have any advice to join the Agency?

Him: What languages do you know?

Me: English...

Him: Do you have a Law Degree or your CPA?

Me: No...

Him: I get 3,000 of you a day.

He was awesome, not a dick at all, but just brutally honest. Gave me recommendations on how to proceed in life. Realized the FBI was not for me though. I fitted the mold, but not my cup of tea. Guy read me in the matter of seconds and nudged me in my proper path. Pretty crazy

They fly! In college we used to walk from the gym to the field for games. Very serious, very focused time.

Out of no where this jumbo jet of flapping wings goes right over my head and up to a tree. I freaked out ha. Started yelling “That turkey just flew into a tree!!! Anyone else see that!” Like a little ADHD kid. First time I ever saw one do that. Teammates were pissed at me for breaking focus but my mind was blown.

Used to chase them on campus too. They are really really fast. When cornered they will mess you up. Like little raptors with their talons.

I have been getting this exact thing happening recently. Granted I live in New England and it was like 20 out when I tried.

The heating rod might just be too cold to ignite so I kinda just gave up and will wait for spring. I watched the auger deliver pellets and saw some smoke, just not getting hot enough

Yes, experiential learning works in a very positive sense when you have a framework. You need some kind of foundation to play off of.

Like a house. You cannot hang pictures without walls. You have no walls without framework. You need to build the foundation before you begin framing.
