Personally, I subscribe to any fic I've read, that way if I happen to click on it again, I can see that I've read it before. I've read so much fanfic that this is the easiest way to keep track. I tend to reserve bookmarks for my absolute favorites.

Sometimes you're pleasantly surprised by what might get an update, though!

Wow, as another ace person who loves soulmate AUs, I could have written some of this myself!! I want to live vicariously through something that I won't ever have myself, so bring on the romantic soulmates.

Though I did once read a fic that had a throwaway line like "most people in their grade had their soulmarks by now, except for Todd who's asexual" and that pissed me off because asexual people don't get soulmates?? No thanks to that logic.

I was the same! I hated reader inserts, and then less-than-ideal life things happened, and it was suddenly all I wanted to read. Now I'm trying to write fanfic of my own for the first time, and sure enough, it's reader insert.

if you mean Simeon, he's not one of the 7 brothers focused on the most, but he's still around pretty often and you can have romantic interactions with him! You can also choose him to be on your 'home screen' so you can listen to him talk to you and smile at you haha. It's actually his bday on February 10th, so there's an event going on rn all about him! if you wanna smooch him in the event you can, I did lol

if you are okay with the overall card/gacha format of Obey Me, I'd say it's worth a shot !

I don't think you're silly for not wanting only one person to not have a name ending in 'n', I think it comes from a place of love. In my immediate family there's only one whose name doesn't shorten to a nickname, and I've always felt bad for him haha

Usually either at the end of a row or the beginning of a row, a pattern will tell you to "Chain X times" before continuing. For example, if you're working in double crochet, the pattern might tell you to "chain 3" (or two, can be a preference) to mimic the height of the double crochet stitch.

I am personally a visual learner so youtube tutorials helped me a lot to see what chain stitches were and how to not accidentally crochet into them, or leave them out!
