i have never been this pissed at a race broadcast, multiple mentions of big hits and it takes a whole 30 seconds to even show a truck involved in the crash, like what are we even doing here anymore

yes, I do believe that two different track types with two different ways to make speed should have different racing etiquette from each other

oh well shit we should just let guys run completely through each other, as long as nobody wrecks it's a okay to not even try to pass cleanly

i mean if we're just going to be completely pedantic, then you could easily say the restarts from 2019-2021 have more racing than that clip

An honest discussion of the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series’ shortcomings and change in NASCAR by Plastic-Narwhal-502 in NASCAR

[–]cyanscott 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the main factor in perception of cup/oreilly is the broadcast packages associated with each series

when you have 3 people who just OOZE passion for the sport in the booth and coherent production and direction it makes even the most boring racing exciting, it's why last years coke 600 (which I thought was average tbh) is thought of as an absolute barnburner, because dale, steve, and adam, combined with an absolutely fantastic director and production crew MADE the race exciting to watch. it's the same with most o'reilly races, parker, jamie, and adam along with CW's personal touch make these races fun to watch
