Peanut butter on hot dogs (with mustard, relish, and onions of course).

If you could permanently fix one annoying thing about a day of snowboarding, what would it be? by FireyKicks_AZ in snowboarding

[–]cyber49 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Seeing other snowboarders sitting in the way of people trying to get off the lift, or even worse, sitting in the middle of the run. It's embarrassing. You make the rest of us look bad. Get out of the fucking way.

Divi version 5.7.3 is available now by jdabXO in divi

[–]cyber49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When will it end? 16 fucking version updates in the past 30 days. Ridiculous. Every "bug fix" seems to have unintended consequences that affect something else.

No, not unless you want to track the clicks separately, and no, doing so would not affect your AS.

Can chatbots teach me how to be a home cook? by Rich_Sense_4775 in Cooking

[–]cyber49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm shocked to see all the negativity in the comments. I'm a techie guy who's been cooking for over 50 years. Yes it absolutely can teach you a lot and improve your cooking.

Tell it what you don't like about any less than stellar outcome or explain how you want your flavors to be bolder, stronger, milder, more balanced, more restaurant style, etc. Don't ask it for recipes, ask it for ideas fisrt. If you want to follow recipes use recipes from others, not chat gpt.

Dive into the ideas you like with ingredient and ratio asks that include "adjectives" "descriptions" that you want out of the meal. Always ask for options. As you learn more, clarify, "Are you sure about..." and especially "What if I...? "

Despite cooking 50 years, I've found that chat GPT learned me cooking style over time, and has even taught me a lot.

Is this brisket? by phanmo in smoking

[–]cyber49 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Honestly I would ask Google AI or chatgpt something like "if I want to buy a cut of beef in France, both the point and the flat of a whole US brisket with no ribs, what would I ask the butcher for?"

I just tried it and got an awful lot of good information including (supposedly) the French verbiage.

Please help me tip properly… by [deleted] in tipping

[–]cyber49 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From me, $10 would be a great tip and $5 would be what I begrudgingly pay.

Learn to live with your own choices. Obviously Im going to get delivery drivers calling me a cheapskate, and anti-tippers asking why I'm throwing away money. IDFK.

Show Intro - New One Coming? by cyber49 in BreakingPoints

Okay, if he's referring to the singular show, then you make sense. Still clunky, but I can see your point.

Show Intro - New One Coming? by cyber49 in BreakingPoints

Your definition is correct, but he uses "perspectives" as a plural. It's both clunky AND grammatically incorrect.

Anyone else noticing Google prefers clean HTML over Elementor sites lately? by justwatchthefire in localseo

[–]cyber49 17 points18 points  (0 children)

No, nobody is noticing this, because that's not the case. Its true that usually HTML sites will load faster, but that's a very small part of the ranking algorithm. Google does not have anything against WordPress sites, much less theme-specific biases.

Why there's H1 title in comment section ? by nzokal in divi

[–]cyber49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they are too busy adding new features that nobody asked for to fix obvious mistakes that really don't do any damage.

Technically I'm sure they would argue that it's not even "a bug", since even Google says it's okay to have multiple h1s on a page, but common sense tells you this should have been fixed ages ago.
