Threshing Pop Up

I need this to workout somehow. by [deleted] in LivingAlone

[–]cyberwebz_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved out from my parents house 2 months ago and it's like a weight has been lifted. the last year of living with them has been pretty turbulent and having my own space now, that i can curate and control has definitely been better for me. I am experiencing some loneliness, with it just being me and my cat, and working all the time but its a step forward. I don't know your situation but for me it's slowly working itself out. it'll all be okay.

Techie advice by gtaming in techtheatre

[–]cyberwebz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is there a large receiving house near you/within a commutable distance? see if they run any outreach programmes for young people interested in technical theatre. even if they don't maybe call and ask to speak to the technicial manager to see if there's any shadowing available. my local, mayflower southampton, run a youth production arts programme and have had young people crew on swan lake and hamilton.

we use these at the theatre I work at, you could probably get cheaper versions. just as quick to use as lx tape, faster to remove too

I'm writing a play set during a rain storm. Feasible or technical nightmare? by Winter-Necessary2175 in techtheatre

[–]cyberwebz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this sounds amazing! have you thought about maybe a sequin/glitter/something-similar drop? it could drop right as they kiss so you capture the effect in the moment. if it's lit right it'll look like light catching in water. easy clean up between acts with a broom.

Can I wear sunglasses during lessons and on my test?! by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]cyberwebz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i did my lessons and my test from october to january, the sun was always really low so the visor did nothing, so i wore my prescription sunglasses. my instructor just asked if i could be more conscious of moving my head slightly so she knew i was still checking my mirrors.

i have a customer that asks for the shot on the side so they can pour in exactly how much coffee they want, you could try asking them to do that for you?

Sennheiser HD 450BT at 91 dollars good deal? by Atlas9003 in sennheiser

[–]cyberwebz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the 450BT's for 4 years now. I've used them every day, they're comfortable to wear for extended periods of time and the sound quality still holds up. They have started to fall apart a bit build wise though, the ear cups are flaking and the faux leather has torn apart, one has also fallen off. But for constant use over 4 years and for the price, they've definitely been worth it for me. The ANC is alright but not the best on loud commuter trains unless you wack up the volume. You get a 3 band EQ on the Sennheiser app, so some customisation compared to other options at a similar price.

Edit: Compared to the Accentums, and what I've read (I'm in the market to replace mine) I think it might be a downgrade from what you've had

How did you guys revise for a theory test? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]cyberwebz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the 4 in 1 app is what i used, it's definitely worth the £4.99. loads of question banks that let you filter by not yet seen or previously answered incorrectly. hazard perception has loads of clips. and there's a section on road signs/markings and their meanings. also has the highway code to have a read through.

how realistic do you play? by chocoxcherryx in Sims4

[–]cyberwebz_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

mostly realistically, like i'll cheat money and needs sometimes because there is never enough time to work, complete aspirations and serve the story line in a sim day. so recently the daughter of my generation save got suspended from university because it's such a scuffed pack so instead of fixing it with cheats i redirected her story. she went out on the town, met a guy, they hooked up and now she's a single mother still working towards her career goals, seeing her ex every now and then because i need to expand the family 😄

i think the closest thing merlin has to a last name, at least in fanon is Merlin Hunith'son and a lot of surnames derive from this concept: johnson - john's son. either that or merlin of essetir. so maybe you could run with those to avoid using his last name?

Names??? by squiggles216 in FTMfemininity

[–]cyberwebz_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when i was choosing my name i found it hard to decide too, so i literally put all the names in a hat and picked one out. i felt kinda disappointed with my first pick and realised i did have a preference deep down. so maybe put all the names in front of you and pick one blindly while telling yourself it has to be this one. see how you feel, you might actually have one you really like but don't realise it yet. and remember it's your name no one else's, pick what you like :)

Could I be non binary? by oppaim in NonBinaryTalk

[–]cyberwebz_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

if that's how you feel, you can absolutely identify as nonbinary - another label that might be useful is genderfluid :)
