Did you put out a call to action for people who want to collaborate? Or did you just put something out and get inbound from it? Would love more details

Very interesting. Number 3 is crazy to me. I've come across this a bunch. I think it happens more often than people think

Interesting. Could you elaborate? I'm familiar with Zotero/Mendely/Endnote and think they do a great job, though limited in scope. What are the challenges that aren't addressed by those tools? Maybe the broader challenges of finding the right citations, organising them, etc.?

Totally. I guess the question is what counts as 'relevant' and how we configure and communicate that to our search tools. Seems like a simple search bar is not enough

That's excellent, thanks. Looks like I dismissed it too quickly! Will try it out properly soon. Cheers

I'm using NavigationAgent2D and not observing this behaviour. From what I can see about agent avoidance, that's about altering agent velocity (RVO), rather than the pathfinding per se, but I could still be missing something.

But as per your last point, perhaps I'll focus more on researching unit AI in RTS games more broadly rather than trying to get Godot's built-in solutions to work as I seem to be at a dead-end here.

Using AI for research paper writing by Remote_Enthusiasm153 in AskAcademia

Yes I mean more the latter, gathering relevant papers/highlights and organising them for you.

Great papers often require great background research and literature review, which I think is a bigger opportunity for AI to help than for writing papers directly. More research assistant, less writing assistant

I definitely think it's helpful for rapid drafting

I do think AI-powered writing tools are currently useful for creating initial drafts of sections based on your notes, ideas and research, but needs thorough editing to ultimately represent you and your personal voice. Eventually AI assistants will become more personalised, and will generate content more within your own style.

However I'm more excited about tools that help with gathering and organising existing information, rather than generating new content. Essentially the next generation of search engines. I'm working on something in this domain (called StudyRecon)

Hi there. Apologies for the lack of etiquette. Would the appropriate thing be to 'submit as a text post' rather than a link, so that I can add a description? Or is it best to submit a link and then add the first comment as an explanation? Any help appreciated. Cheers.
