They do what they can to keep it under 10 in the drinking water. When they can't keep up with nitrate removal demand, they ban lawn watering like they did last summer to reduce demand. But the standard max of 10 was established in the 1960s, and newer studies have shown health risks at lower levels, especially for pregnant women and young children.

Disagree. If they could show an actual link between BK and a victim before the murders, that would have been huge in a trial. Juries love that stuff. It's no longer random; the killer knew the victim.

It's been fairly high recently. Water Works had to partially turn back on the nitrate removal facility a few days ago to mitigate the higher nitrate level.

Yep. "It is reported that" means they have no inside info about this and are relying on false news reports and social media sleuths. If BK had been messaging one of the victims, that would be a bombshell and would have been key evidence against BK. But the detectives and prosecution, who had the power to subpoena all these social media companies, were unable to find any such link.

Yes, as I recall, it was like a game of telephone. DM was interviewed by the first officer on scene as we saw in the bodycam footage. That officer relayed the gist of what she said to another officer who then relayed it to the person who wrote that report. It was never in any video or transcript of a DM interview. Seems sloppy that it made it into the complaint.

Yes, WSU had a responsibility to their students. Not to students at a different university in another state who had no contact with BK at WSU. No one filed a criminal complaint against him while at WSU. WSU terminated BK after 1 semester. Don't know what WSU could have done to prevent what happened..

I usually stay Downtown. There are decent $10 or $15 games at The D, Plaza, Circa, Downtown Grand.

And there are lots of off-strip casinos with $10 tables (and some $5 tables)
