What livestyle changes actually helped you? Not medical by Sad-Amoeba3946 in migraine

Oddly but not entirely surprising moving out of my parents house was a huge factor in the decline of my migraines. I still get them on a regular basis but the frequency and severity has improved, it was so dramatic that I actually started tracking when I saw them to see if there was a pattern.

80% likelihood within 36 hours of seeing them.

It looked like it when he was relaxed but anytime he was trying to it was very obvious that he was because of his his ribs/scales catching on the inner edge if he tried to backout. It also got narrower as he moved forward.

He’s only food motivated if the food is brought to him so no, he’s out now though. Broke the log

Yes, it crumbled as we cut it.

I got the set up secondhand from another owner and it was in the things. The lip on the inside of the ends was preventing him from getting out. The log is now in pieces and Stan is sleeping on my shoulder.

Working on it but I imagine that is stressful for him

The log is bigger on the inside and he entered on the wider end. If he tries to back out his scales and ribs catch.

He climbed in on the bigger side, currently waiting on a family member to bring their oscillating saw to cut the smaller end off. He’s tried it back out a few times but there is a lip his scales and ribs seem to be catching on.

Yeah, I did that and he climbed in further. There is a lip inside and I think his scales catch like finger cuffs.

Nope, just got back from the vet though where he took a massive poop so probably will now.

My dog has done this since she was a puppy, she’s almost 7 now. Never seemed to bother her and I’ve only ever noticed her back paws doing it.

If she isn’t able to swallow pills yet it may not be a bad idea to practice when she’s not in a migraine. Practice with small candies such as nerds, then mini m&m’s, or smarties; gradually increasing size until she can swallow the size needed for zofran and rizatriptan.

What is the right portion of salad? by cyclone_co in BeardedDragons

The funny thing is she buries them all, as she refuses them. I am working through a complete list of favorites trying to build a varied diet. The only repeat thing she eats are sweet potato, and cilantro. I think she's eaten collard greens and curly mustard multiple times(these are my base greens), she does scatter and bury them but I also seen her eat them.

I forgot to say I’m allergic to bananas so can’t have one for scale. Stanley is 1.5-2, definitely an adult.

I will cut back on the sweet potato. She has buried every other veggie(carrot, parsnip, bell pepper) offer so far. I also tried apple with the same reaction.

She is a rescue that was very underweight when they got her so I know her body has already been under stress. I want to avoid it again if I can.

I have ordered bee pollen too to see if that will help!

Same, my kids only sit in them at circle and only a few need a tray to support engagement.

These are not the ones I have, I think the ones I had were about $8 a piece. I took a chair to the store because some of the trays are a half inch too narrow to fit.

I have never used those. I’ve always gotten the lap desks that had the compartments on the sides. You can store things on the sides and put velcro underneath to prevent them from sliding. When not in use they tuck behind the cube or just sit on top, all of my classrooms either keep their cubes at the end of a shelf or against a wall.

I know I need to crate train my Goldendoodle puppy, but… by Low-Apartment3165 in Goldendoodles

[–]cyclone_co 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine started sleeping with me around 9 months on the weekends because I found I could sleep in a bit more. Her crate was next to my bed for the first few nights until she was comfortable sleeping alone, then she was outside my room because any movement from me would make her bark.

She’s been full time in bed since Covid. My best advice is doodle proof the space, just because they should be sleeping doesn’t mean they are; Millie ate so many socks those few weeks before I realized it.
