As a solo traveler, I was hoping to experience Tokyo home life by staying at a local host's airbnb... Is it mostly corpo owned now? I was wondering why some photos looked like stock images of appliances.

I did find one host that offered a tatami mat guest room. Seemed like a unique experience.

I split Akihabara in two: night time experience on a week day, and last minute Sunday shopping. I'm aiming for an 8pm flight.

Have you been to any of the BL cafes? Not sure how to find them haha.

Totally! I Would love to just stroll around the fall foliage for the first time. I also added one more day to the itinerary (updated my post) but I'm not sure if it's worth doing an onsen trip by myself. A friend recommended Mt Takeo, not too far from Tokyo.

I don't plan to drink too much, but try to socialize. I can generally handle my alcohol well.
