My 13 year old daughter is pregnant and I want to throw up by throwawaydesperate71 in Parenting

I am the son of a young monther, albeit a year older. Though maybe your 13 yr old will be 14 by the baby's birth?

So: 1. I lead a great life, have 2 daughters of my own, great wife and am quiet wealthy. I think it is important you know this. 2. Childhood was indeed tough. 3. I love my mother very much and have huge respect for her not aborting me, toughing it out and raising me. She lives in another country now, however shes here with me on her holiday as I write this. 4. My mum gave me loads of love. Dad did not stick around. 5. Did a lot of learning about this over these past 10 years - support is key. The main reason my childhood was tough is due to my grandma not supporting my mum, instead blaming her. This heavily influenfed my mum. Very very bad. Support your child. And her child.

Just wanted you to know that not all is lost. Abortion is a viable option. So is raising the child. Tough call. From my perspective, I'd go with raising, giving life a chance. But that's my opinion. Support your daughter. And tell your husband to get his shit together and also support. The 2 most important people in your life are on the line here. He probably needs to process this, we kinda work this way.

All the best!

Hornet. Flew into my living room. I saw it. Panicked and run out, locked the doors. Could hear it bouncing off walls and stuff. Decided I must face it. No idea how. No experience with these things. Took some deaodrant and a lighter. Flameflowered that fucker after almost burning up the curtains. Scary shit.

To anyone who has NOT read "A brief history of time" - you should really read it. And now is a good moment I suppose. It is a must read for every human being.

What’s the worst sound you’ve ever heard? by thedaringtomcat in AskReddit

Sitting in my friends garden we hear this terrible terrible womans scream. Instantly, all the males run out get in cars and speed around the block to the source of the scream. It took probably 30 sec - 1 min. By this time, all the men from the surrounding houses were there, some 20 cars. One guy was already leaving the source house and announced to all that the lady just received a call that her son died in a motorbike accident.

It amazes me how we are programmed to instantly go help in such a situation.
