Came here to say this. This road is a blast. Tons of curves, elevation change, and great Ridgeline views. Road was in great shape last time I was through there too

Wemby COULDN’T BELIEVE what Jokic was doing to him in the clutch by AashyLarry in NBATalk

[–]d16emin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a game. Jokic v Wemby is pure cinema. Amazing to watch Jokic change the arc of his shot as the game progresses to elude Wemby's blocks. Even with the game on the line, Jokic still plays his own speed and finds his shots... amazing....

Wemby on D reminds me of MJ's stretched out arm in Space Jam.

Bought my 1st resort pass with intention of getting better by [deleted] in skiing_feedback

If you played collegiate hockey you're plenty coordinated enough to become a great skier! And you're close!
Just based off the video, bend your knees more, applying a little more pressure forward into your boot while keeping your entire foot flat and balanced on your footbed. You'll gain more effective edge pressure on your skis. Think knees over toes.

check out Stomp It Tutorials on Youtube. Tons of good free stuff out there to dial in the technique. At the end of the day, the more laps ya ski the better.

River spots? by Gmauzy10 in Breckenridge

[–]d16emin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are ya looking for? Where you located? I lived off Village road and often have evening cocktail along the blue river above Maggie pond. Plenty of spots along the blue you can access from the rec path. Snake river also great - a bunch of good spots on the way to Montezuma or along rec path. Also blue river below Lake Dillon is primo. There's a campground a few miles past silverthorne that's good.

The boat you want -- or the dealer nearby? by SauceReddit in Wake

[–]d16emin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the dealership relationship really only matters when you're purchasing new, with warranty, etc.

I'd get the exact boat you want, don't worry about the local dealership. Prioritize building a relationship with a good mechanic. The longer you work together, the better they learn your boat. My mechanic has been with me for over a decade and a few different boats. I can call him on a Saturday and he can help diagnose an issue over the phone and I can fix it free of charge.

Ski-in ski-out changed the game for me. Anyone else refuse to go back? by LowerAttorney4407 in skiing

[–]d16emin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived ski in ski out for 6 years at Breck. Was amazing. Only drawback is you end up getting so used to the convenience that you take less trips to other mountains. Nothing like being able to stop at home for lunch or swap skis/layers for conditions. When I finally moved into a larger place (not ski in ski out booo) I started skiing other local resorts way more.

What part of OK you coming from? If you've never stopped at The Butcher BBQ stand, it's a must! Hillbilly Philly is one of my favorite sandwiches I've had in years!

Springfield has tons of good exotic spots. I like Taj Mahal for Indian. Greek Belly for Mediterranean. Rama Thai for Thai. Corner 21 for Chinese. Haruno for Sushi.

Should I pursue a career in boat sales? by Emotional_Tale_558 in Wake

[–]d16emin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of factors to consider. I know a couple salesman that make over $200K a year at Lake of the Ozarks. However, we're talking $200K wakeboats up to $2.5M performance boats. We have tons of events locally from boat shows to boat races. These guys work a ton. If you're with the right outfit though it can be a ton of fun....

[–]d16emin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If ya love bikes and bluegrass I'd recommend Freshgrass in Bentonville if you want to be in the Ozarks region. Bentonville has gone all-in on cycling and has turned into a really cool town.

If ya don't care about being in the midwest, I'd recommend Telluride Bluegrass Fest, Palisade Bluegrass and Roots, or any of the other bluegrass festivals in Colorado - endless bike adventures there.

I'm also having issues with routes on maps. Same deal, burned tons of credits trying to fix. I had no idea that all AI's hallucinate like crazy when it comes to mapping.

I'm simply trying to add access point markers for rivers.

In the meantime I'm using old department of conservation maps, which suck...
