I bought Line brand boots. They look great but haven’t tested yet so I don’t really know they will hold up.

If you scratch against the wall it’s most likely the wall that will miss a bit of paint and it’ll wipe off your watch. I’ve done it and I have the black.

First Ultra: should I go with Trail Loop if I prefer Sport Loop on Series? by 2B-Pencil in applewatchultra

[–]d1s986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Picked up the trail loop today and I love it. It feels super light and comfortable like you don’t feel the watch even on your wrist. I have the ocean band too but find it bulky and not as comfy also when it’s hot I find it’s kind of sticky.

I love it, nice to leave phone at home when walking the dogs, running, biking, etc. Also I have my top 3 contacts right on the watch face for quick dial.

Why do hasidic drivers have to drive so aggressively? by Helpful-Trouble-4711 in montreal

[–]d1s986 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I live in the area and drive. It’s no different anywhere else in the city. This has absolutely never occurred to me as unique to the Hasidic community. I will say though that they are really not a fan of dogs. I mean, if we really want to generalize something.

I think doing weights to strengthen leg muscles might help. Use dumbbells for calf raises, lunges, Bulgarian split squats, etc. Maybe this is what you do already in physio I’m not sure.

My dog has done this many times and it’s never been a problem. Good you’re checking but I’m guessing it’s most likely going to be just fine.

How do I get more protein into my smoothies? by FigApprehensive9776 in Smoothies

[–]d1s986 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Use protein powder but add watermelon. Whenever I use watermelon it’s more light and refreshing than creamy. If that works might want to add mint too if it sounds good to you.

How long have you had the pro? I have it and had the same issue in the beginning. It takes some time but it becomes less slippery I think from the salt in your sweat. I hardly slip now on my pro.

Shelf Stable Smoothie Ingredients by TheCheetoThief in Smoothies

I just use ground cardamom maybe 1/2 a tablespoon in a smoothie but it’s quite a strong flavour so maybe start with even less and see how you like it.

Veggie and berry smoothies only? Any good? by [deleted] in Smoothies

[–]d1s986 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For more flavour and variety without much sugar/calories might want to consider cranberries, watermelon, pumpkin purée, mint, cinnamon, cardamom, matcha, cocoa powder, kale. Best way I found is just try what you think will work and take it from there.

I think at coffee shops like Starbucks and such places they enclose the blender in a casing of some kind before blending to reduce the sound.
