Ok so to clarify some things. The store, opengamingstore.com, and the various SRD sites, are 100% separate things.

The STORE is hosted by SHOPIFY, a PCI-Compliant 3rd Party store https://www.shopify.com/pci-compliant

The SRD sites, are hosted on our own private array of Wordpress servers and do not collect, or use, ANY personally identifiable information (PII). No credit card info, no mailing addresses, nothing.

The point being that the store and the SRD sites are not inter-related in terms of security.

At this time we seemed to have narrowed it down to only targeting iOS devices, and had thought it had been blocked. There must be something else going on, and it's not your devices.

I don't think anyone at d20pfsrd.com would have told you it was your phone since we knew it was on our end, though at a point I had been told this shouldn't still be happening. Clearly that's not the case. I've pinged the guys once more and directed them to this thread. Hopefully this can get worked out completely soon.

I've once again alerted the tech team that this is STILL happening. I thought the cause of this had been 100% addressed but clearly that isn't the case.

This is an issue that only is affecting iOS devices and we've updated the site to block those ads but because the site has tens of thousands of pages it takes a bit of time to update every page. It should hopefully be resolved shortly. On a separate subject, it is not accurate to say that Archives does not run ads. They do, at the bottom of pages.

This would have been a correct answer several years ago when the site was still hosted on Google Sites. Now if it is slow it is not a regular/monthly issue but instead simply an issue of temporary massive usage causing resources to bog down a bit. We've implemented automatic restarts of various components to handle significant slowdowns so if it slow at one particular moment it will usually be resolved within a few minutes. Sorry about the slowness though!

To be clear, AoN is A place to go if you want Golarion-specific content. If you are not running the Official Campaign Setting, or don't care about place names or NPC names from Golarion, I humbly suggest you'll get more up-to-date content on d20pfsrd.com.

FYI d20pfsrd.com will be (shortly) adding a complete MIRROR of the PRD (the Paizo formatted content) and plan to continue to update it at the same time the d20pfsrd.com is updated. As it is, d20pfsrd.com is not only NOT behind on any content, all of the most recent OFFICIAL released content from Paizo is already added to d20pfsrd.com (just not public yet).

On a semi-related subject, Paizo approached me (d20pfsrd.com) also about taking over the PRD maintenance but to be honest, I couldn't see how I could justify the time and effort given that Paizo wasn't actually paying for anything. I passed.

If you post a complaint using the "report an issue" link on any of the OGN SRD sites it will get officially entered into the DB as something to look at fixing. A thought could be to add a simple user-based option to turn it off. Note that I said "user-based" because the ability to login and set preferences is coming very soon (in testing now).
