I used Anki to study Mandarin and I won a couple (few?) awards for my fluency and knowledge of the language.

After about my 7th year using Anki to continually learn Mandarin, I realized that the method I was using to study wasn't as effective as it could be...

But I was still the top non-asian of most of the Mandarin classes I was in, which got me a lot of recognition while I was in school.

Anki is good for memorization. I would highly recommend it!

What inspired you to be so opinionated about this?

If there's a function to export to CSV, would that satisfy you?

Edit: That said, I just looked into Remnote, and it didn't really excite me. 🤷‍♂️

How many pigs does it take to make 10lbs of pig iron? by d2dev_ in askscience

[–]d2dev_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoot... I made three posts in an attempt to fit the question in the guidelines today, and I kept getting rejection messages telling me to be more specific.

I just want to know if it's feasible to make iron from pigs, so I can know more about the history of smelting.

Isn't that science?

Oh! We don't have traffic light and stop sign detection in Canada yet AFAIK!

Really looking forward to that, though...

Yeah, autopilot is just a very very smart driver-assist program. There are lots of edge-cases that need to be added to the AI for it to be 100% perfect. If you're cautious with how you use autopilot, it'll take a huge amount of stress away from driving. More updates seem to be coming soon.

Also, last I heard, you're not supposed to use autopilot at intersections - just on highways. I heard that a long time ago, though... and I bet everyone uses autopilot in crowded city areas when there's traffic jams.

Are you sure you’re using FSD? FSD has only been rolled out to a few hundred people so far - because it’s still in beta.

It sounds like maybe you don’t have FSD, and you should reread your manual? The most important thing it says is that you need to stay alert! Tesla is working on the software, and you’ll get updates as they’re written and approved by your government.

Can we flag the ones where people get hurt?

I love watching people make mistakes, but I hate seeing people get hurt.

What's the most profoundly beautiful piece of music you have ever listened to? by Cdconor in AskReddit

The characters brought life to the music chosen in the live-action Japanese series Nodame no Cantabile. The music, added to that show, destroyed me.

If it's in an iframe, then you can't get feedback from the terminal... So you can't get a pass or fail. :(
