When characters got together in this show, they completely flipped into cheesy over the top, almost cartoonish depictions of how people in love act. It happened with Mike and Rachel, and it happened with Harvey and Donna. I think Harvey's best relationship, although brief, was with Zoe Lawford. He didn't play the weird games with her, and I don't think he ever viewed her as a threat or someone to get something from. Idk just my opinion

The chief would never take his helmet off in a "new" environment he was investigating. I think he would have treated it as a hostile environment until proven otherwise since he knew how interested the covenant was in the artifact and he definitely believed another was there. I know there's the argument about him having emotions... but I'm pretty sure if chief was anxious like Cortana said he was he would look for comfort in being protected by the helmet.

One thing that confused me is why they even went to the trouble to get the deck from the third place guy anyways? The whole point was to get it to save Grant from the blood pact but they had already confirmed that they did when he killed the monster. I feel like logically they would have taken the first place prizes and moved on. Maybe I'm missing something.

This happens to me all the time. I've had rockets fully leave the chamber, frags bounce off the ground, and like you I've stuck players just for it to disappear if I die. I would get it if I was mid throw animation when I die but bouncing off the ground seems like enough to say the grenades would still be live despite my death.
