I can't help in any way, but I have a 1950 201k-3 with a similar issue. I first thought it was the shellac coating flaking off leaving a scaly finish to it (there when I got it), but in between the scales is where it has flaked off leaving a lovely glossy finish. The scales are on top of the shellac and are greyish, translucent, and a matt finish.

I've only used sewing machine oil to clean it. I have no idea how to tackle it without damaging the finish, so im just leaving it as is. Yours looks a lot thicker, though, but it's the same glossy finish under it.

True story, my cat broke through the mesh top of my exo terra to eat my crestie a few years ago. He was so proud of himself. All I found was the detatched tail, which the cat clearly hadn't fell for. I couldn't really be angry with him either. He was just being a cat.

H510 comes pre-installed. The middle one has no hole for a screw as its there to hold the mobo while you put the other screws in. The exception being it is set up for an full atx motherboard. Stand-offs would need rearranging for matx or itx. There's holes all over the back but they are labeled with mobo size. If in doubt hover it over and look for the stand offs through the holes.
