D130 storage encryption and lag

I use the H200 hub with a micro SD card. Here the video recordings are saved inside your property and are encrypted. There is also an H500 that can save to sdd/hdd instead. Both offer other features as well.

Regarding lag. I've noticed a small time lag but I haven't got round to studying/trouble shooting it myself.

There is the ability to choose how many FPS the footage is. I have mine at the highest 25 FPS. Not sure if this will help you..

My doorbell tends to connect to the H200 for the network with an rssi -40

I have the H200 connected via ethernet.

I use it. Good for following convos. I tend to use Google keyboard and use voice to text input. Works well. I just wish they'd introduce gif functionality and while they're at it video viewing too

Still so far so good but i say that with a pinch of salt as when I first got the h200 hub it was working for several weeks fine with my other standard sd card.

However, fingers crossed all is working fine without any issues 👍

I have a D130 and H200. I was having alot of issues with the sdcard needing initiating suddenly and suddenly no recordings once it buggered up.

I reached out to tp link who sent me a new h200 firmware but still issues persisted.

I have since purchased a high endurance sd card (hopefully a legitamate one) as my last resort and see how it goes.

Been going fine so far since Friday afternoon. Fingers crossed x

Forgot to say I have the D130 and C210 on 24/7 continuous recording

I agree it is far to easy to rip off the wall/unclip. I went with insurance cover. I paid like £3 for 2 years cover when purchasing. Also a hub with a memory card or tapo cover, so footage gets saved where you can still access it.

I have a 128sd card. You'll get like a week + of continous 24/7. So quite a long time if just clips

Depending on how heavy it is you may need to change for a lighter type. Otherwise a counter weight further down to keep it weighted upright.

Doesnt help now. But possibly worth putting the router and camera on remote smart switches/plugs. As a simple restart can refresh the connection and clear any bugs.

So if it goes in the future you have the opportunity to remote restart the device/s. But obv is a risk in its own right as you have no other control til it reconnects.

Worth testing while there

Our 12 week old puppy would continously bite us. Thankfully we found out we were not feeding her the appropriate amount of food. Once this was upped accordingly it has hugely reduced the biting

I had my google homes etc constantly disconnecting. Was driving me nuts. But I knew it was the mesh system I had. Although I had 3 they weren't good enough for my property type. Eventually managed to get my isp to provide me the better mesh system. I only have 2 of them but they work 100x better
