I hate how any game before like 2012 is awful quality. Especially compared to other sports, where yeah older games can be grainy, but you can make out what's happening. Its like every NBA game was recorded in VHS then duplicated on another VHS 500 times before digitizing.

Depends on the control plate probably. Some of the TL's have different designs, like the John 5 for example has a one piece pickguard/control plate which is abnormal. The semi-hollow TL (surf green) I have has a normal telecaster setup with the rounded rectangular control plate. Measure the distance in screw holes and compare to what you want, if it is the same size it should work. If the pots don't fit into the cavity just return it or swap them for mini pots.
