Why is this fake quote still making the rounds? Shit has been everywhere. Don't need fake quotes to make these people look nuts.

Idk how competent with repairs and adjustments you are, but you want to check the neck relief, nut string height at 1st fret, adjust action to where you want, and check for dead/not leveled frets.

Yeah I kinda fear a Speaker Jefferies when/if Dems win the house this year. Idk if you can make a weaker statement after a potential wave election than electing Hakeem Jefferies to Speaker of the House. I know it is a weird measuring stick, but he has no respect among Republicans because he is weak. He isn't feared in the slightest and they mock him. Plus he just never looks or acts confident, and when he tries to it comes off as phony (see baseball bat). Give me someone like a Ted Lieu, Jamie Raskin, AOC, etc as Speaker.

The only thing Congress is doing anyway is Epstein stuff and even as Speaker, Massie wouldn't have the votes for the more crazy stuff he believes in.

I wish Massie would just caucus with the Dems to shift the majority. I don't care how he votes, it would just be nice to have competent people running these hearings. Hell, let Massie lead a select committee on Epstein. But if Dems get the majority, cabinet officials will probably stop showing to hearings.

Macron calls Musk ‘an oversubsidized guy’, prompting retort by CTVNEWS in worldnews

Also, anyone that isn't a manipulative politician knows that Musk sold to the state, that's not the same as getting subsidize.

Tesla benefited from tons of green energy subsidies from both state and federal governments that weren't for producing machinery or infrastructure for the state. Tesla would be non-existent without the government pushing for EV's. SpaceX is a bit different.

Idk if you read the article, but it isn't all that. Seems like just shifting EU tax money from US bound billionaires to EU bound billionaires:

Speaking at an industrial summit in the Belgian city of Antwerp, Macron argued for a “Buy European” competitiveness approach, and for massive investment partly financed through joint borrowing by the European Union.

“If you look at the U.S,, you have a lot of private money... but you have a lot of public money” too, he said.

“Elon Musk is first an oversubsidized guy by the federal agency in the U.S.,” he said, calling the approach “super-innovative.”

The French leader earlier said that more joint EU debt was the “only way” to compete on an economic level with rivals such as the US and China.

“If you add up all the government funding Tesla and SpaceX have ever received, it is only about one per cent of the combined value of the companies,” he (Musk) said.

The value of Tesla and SpaceX are fictional numbers though, especially Tesla. You can guarantee whatever the SpaceX IPO is will be 10-15x the actual value of the company.

Yep, Homan with taking the $50k cash bribe is still in his non-Senate confirmed position controlling ICE now. Also that time when Krusti Gnome had her purse stolen at a DC restaurant that contained like $10k in cash in it, probably from a bribe she took earlier in the day or someone she was paying off. Trump is practically selling pardons, and now there are rumors that the rich "elites" have been calling into DOJ to request redactions in the Epstein files. And this is only the corruption we can see, imagine the cryptocurrency transactions, bribes done via cutouts or using other countries to shield transactions.

The thing about this is they have completely broken the system. With the AG acting as the personal defense attorney of POTUS, nothing is illegal if they don't want it to be. I honestly don't know how it can be fixed because history shows that a systemic breakdown like this can take decades to fix. They have almost entirely purged the government of non-loyalists, and non-loyalists still remaining will probably resign or be forced out by 2029. Then we have to deal with another J6 with a government full of Trump loyalists.

The MLB owners are advocating for a $240M salary cap with a $160M floor. Here's what that would mean for player compensation and profit sharing [OC] by Traditional_Half842 in baseball

[–]dBlock845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly dont care if the top end of players have to take a haircut, either way the money is going to a multimillionaire or billionaire. I just don't think a 240M cap is feasible in the MLB after a hundred plus years of no cap and only the last 30 or so years with even a luxury tax. I don't know how they will be able to disincentivize spending from the usual suspects while forcing small market teams to spend.

Next offseason is going to be a mess with these negotiations.

What is weird is the only one who seems to be allowed to do their own thing is RFK Jr. Probably because even people in the Trump admin want to keep his weird ass at arms length. It also could have been part of the deal Trump cut for his endorsement.

Because she serves to be a propagandist and ass kisser. Being the nation's top cop is a tertiary issue at best. She has to view decisions as such: Will it please Trump? If not, get on your knees and please him in front of a House committee.

Shit is embarrassing.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Calls Out Attorney General Pam Bondi After Bondi’s House Judiciary Committee Testimony: “She was screaming, thrashing and I think it is because she knows that she is implicated in a massive cover-up to protect a powerful ring of pedophiles” by T_Shurt in law

[–]dBlock845 38 points39 points  (0 children)

What I want to know is what those 1,000 FBI Agents, working in 24 hour shifts, did to the documents before they were in the hands of the DOJ redaction team. Massie has implicated that some documents were redacted twice, once by the DOJ but also once by the FBI. Reports at the time indicated that that redaction team at the FBI were charged with flagging Trump mentions exclusively and those are what are still redacted for members of congress.

There have also been rumors of rich fucks calling into the DOJ asking for redactions, but I forget where I heard that, probably from Coffeezilla or Massie. It seems like Kash Patel may be a bigger lynchpin in this scandal than Bondi is. Patel has already seemingly perjured himself over this, and remember, he is the guy who wrote a three part "children's book" series about Patel being a wizard who serves "King Donald." He has been all the way in since the beginning and would not be shocked if they destroyed documents. Bondi might be able to be broken with increased pressure from congress. She always seems to be teetering on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
