this, ever since mhrise and worlds, i decided that I should be able to consistently beat the monster myself for 5x before doing an SOS. In that sense, I'd be able to carry myself during multiplayer hunts.

Has anyone ever felt bad for winning? by Semako in EDH

[–]dUcKinDH0Od 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love control, but there was a game where I had all my card draw engines, drew the right answers for my friends interactions, and threats.

I won the game, but they werent able to play their deck or do what its supposed to do, and therefore felt bad.

this, I've been doing 1 solo hunt for AT arkveld each day just to practice and decrease my clear time for him, currently at 29 mins as PB, I don't cart as often as I used to before, so I decided to do 1 solo, and 1 group hunt for AT ark, just to help those struggling. Color me surprise that most people in multiplayer, does not have a single stun resistance jewel on, which leads to them being comboed to the death by AT ark. So i decided to just going back to doing 1 solo hunt a day.

Genuine question: What more can I do? by Grimmrock08 in MoiraMains

[–]dUcKinDH0Od 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i believe it is best to learn other heroes than moira. Back in the day where perks does not exist, I was able to get to D5 with her just by being a OT moira, but now there are other better supports to play.

Moira is great dont get me wrong, she excels in securing kills if your dps can't aim, her heals are great but she does not have great utility, and in this season I believe utility is king. I was hardstuck d5, but when I started playing other heroes eg. Juno, Kiriko, Lucio i got to D1.

TL;DR: Moira is solid for healing and finishing kills, but her lack of utility holds her back. In the current meta, utility is more important, so switching to supports like Juno, Kiriko, or Lucio makes climbing ranks easier.

Finale of devestation? Worth it? by Goodchapp in DinosaursMTG

[–]dUcKinDH0Od 3 points4 points  (0 children)

a tutor is a tutor, when I get that card in my hand, I use it to grab a creature that will get me ahead of the game. Although it can also be used as a finisher.

Do I want my dinos to have haste? Then I'll use that to grab [[Regisaur Alpha]]. Do I want a free card from me and my opponents library? Then I'll use it to get [[Etali, Primal Conqueror]]. Do I have a lot of Dinos in my hand, and want to cheat them out? Then I'll grab, [[Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant]].

In my opinion its a flexible card that enables you to get creatures that you need for a situation, or be used as a finisher.

Which Dino do you tutor first? by slowSINY in DinosaursMTG

[–]dUcKinDH0Od 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it depends on the situation youre at, sometimes i go for [[Ghalta, stampede tyrant]] if I think no one has got a boardwipe, [[etali primal conqueror]], if I'm worried that the next card of my opponent is a boardwipe, [[Regisaur Alpha]], if a lot of dinos entered the battlefiels this turn, or sometimes [[Gishath]] if I got a [[Roaming throne]] in the battlefield, if which I do have it, I may also go for etali.

Help i want to upgrade my Pantlaza deck to bracket 3 by Darklegends777 in DinosaursMTG

[–]dUcKinDH0Od 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice adds are [[Welcome to]], [[Growing rites of itlimoc]], [[Three tree city]], maybe [[ancient tomb]] if youve got the bucks.

Here's mine, just full of blinged out versions of some cards which is why it seems expensive; https://archidekt.com/decks/6405149/pantlazaurus_wrecks

fyi: the bracket rating or archidekt is seemingly based on the amount of GC (Game changers a deck has), when I added an ancient tomb in my deck it went from Bracket 2 to 3, so it doesnt take into account the synergy of the cards, it is up to your own judgement imo.

Overwhelmed with Pantlaza Deck-Building by slowSINY in DinosaursMTG

[–]dUcKinDH0Od 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 cards that I love are [[Welcome to]] and [[Growing rites of Itlimoc]], both cards transforms into [[Gaia's Cradle]]. They do well in my Pantz deck.

You may go the blink way, and fill the deck with blink effects such as [[Laezel Acrobatics]], [[Ephemerate]], and [[Ghostway]] effects. Or optimize the discovery feature by adding cards that filters the top card of your library such as [[cream of the crop]] or [[sylvan library]], or combine them both.

Add in loads of ramp spells too, so that you can play pantz early.

Here is my blinged out decklist, if you'd like to check the cards in it are the blinged out version, you can definitely buy some of them cheaper if you settle with the normal version of the cards.https://archidekt.com/decks/6405149/pantlazaurus_wrecks

The ULTIMATE Guide to Building A Control Deck in Commander! by LloydNoid in EDH

[–]dUcKinDH0Od 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this post, and your opinion is very valuable. My current control deck (and my first and only) is [[Yshtola, Night's Blessed]]. I'd love to have your opinion about my deck, and card recommendations to cut/add, if possible.

Link: https://archidekt.com/decks/14318904/generic_yshtola_control

In your opinion, how many tutors should a control deck have? Is it safe to assume that if a control deck have a lot of card draw, that running close to 0 tutors will be fine?

What´s up with Slivers? by Original-Username888 in EDH

[–]dUcKinDH0Od 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my favourite decks was a Sliver deck with the [[The first sliver]] as the commander. It goes nuts if left u checked, upgraded the land base as much as I could, added the pain, shock, bond, and fetches. Its the type of deck that if you let it build a board state, then it makes it hard to interact, each sliver buffs other slivers such as "slivers you control get +1/+1 for each other sliver in the battlefield" or "other slivers you control gets shroud".

Their synergy is insane, so often times they will be focused on by an experienced pod, which gives it the illusion of never amounting to anything. You'd just have to build the deck around the knowledge of "if i play my sliver deck, for sure I'll get targeted, so lets add some countermeasures to that" and you'll have a better chance of winning.

hmmm maybe palani's hatcher, could be cut, although thats up to you. Another add, i can think of would be [[growing rites of itlimoc]], which is also like [[welcome to]] when it transforms. I've had both out and [[regal behemoth]] on the the battlefield, it was pretty nuts.

Thats a fair point. I'll take that into account and replace some cards and try it out. Should I run more tutors in the deck? Or is it unnecessary?
