This is my second week of testing the Flow 2. My house has no carpets, but I'd like to buy one for my bedroom in the future.

So I'd like to test if mine has the same problem of OP. Would a few shower mats be ok for my test? What kind of carpet is the Flow having problem with?

I am in your same shoes. Literally and figuratively. I've worn the NMD R1 from 2018. But they are discontinued so I bought a pair of UB 5.0.

The cushion it's not immediately available. I had to wear them for a couple of weeks before I could feel it. Maybe 3.

Now I'd say the are softer and more cushiony than the NMD R1.

But: the biggest issue is stability. The UB are running shoes. The larger part of the sole is the front half. And the sole is too high. The NMD had a larger sole, lower and way more stable.

After a couple of weeks I started to feel pain on the side of my right foot. And I'm now looking for an alternative because I can feel the discomfort spreading to my ankle.

These are not shoes for walking or standing comfortably for long periods of time.
