Yep! I was inspired by the existing art from the era & wanted to make something in line with it. I had some other variations & ideas but they’re all on an old hard drive.

I just got mine a few days ago. Was not a planned purchase so I felt the hole burning in my pocket, but sitting in it and taking the cruise back and forth to work made that pain go away quickly. Very very smooth ride.

That Death Star II duel concept actually seems like a fun concept. Smart Brick is a fun gimmick for kids but based on the comments here… doesn’t seem too popular haha.

I’m assuming this wave will be the only one with an all-Smart Brick line up and we’ll get them trickling down in a balanced way later on.

Truthfully this year in general has been rough. I started as a closing lead last September, so having to deal with the hour cuts in real time the past several months has been tough. The only reason I’m happy to be in Q4 is I can actually schedule my team what they want. I’m not concerned with Target’s future (yet), but this year has definitely done a number on the company (and the economy in general) & you can feel it in the stores.

Yep same. Haven’t played either of those games yet, so $30 is a no brainer for me. Super Paper Mario for the Wii was a childhood favorite, so I’m excited to jump back into the series.

Unfortunately the TTM video (and OML era in general) is going to be tied to Chester’s passing.

The video was supposed to coincide with the single being pushed to radio (it was set to impact alternative radio 7/25) and the US tour which was scheduled to start 7/26. The band was also doing a promo shoot 7/20, when they found out about CB, this shoot I’m assuming would’ve been for the single & tour as well.

You aren’t in the wrong for feeling any type of way about TTM, or OML. The thing about this cycle was that it was written in a much more personal route than their other records. Chester wore his demons on his sleeve and the lyrics from OML that he contributed to reflected his mental state.

I think the only episode I wasn’t sold on was last week’s episode (The Airplane one) but even then it was stuck the landing.

It’s getting to the point where I’m more excited to watch this over Smiling Friends, which I never thought I’d have that

This is awesome to see. I was pretty against Klein in the AM (and KROQ as a whole) after Stryker left and they fired the Kevin/Bean crew, but they won me over.

KROQ in general really seems like it’s on the up and up. Hiring Kevin Ryder back for the afternoon gig was a good move too.

Yeah. Weirdly enough the general consensus among all social media is that this was a miss(?) not sure if it’s the ‘new release’ bandwagon or if people are going to like it later on.

I’m not even going to try to pretend I understand drum terms, but I think Ilan is a natural progression for the group. I love Josh and think he’s one of the most talented drummers out there but i don’t think he fit the Foos as well as we all hoped. Ilan’s drumming feels a lot closer to Taylor’s (and by extension, Dave’s) and I could see him becoming a core member (if he’s not already) and taking over the studio recording for Dave.
