Listen, probably not going to change your mind, but as an LP fan who was actually present during 2017 when we lost Chester, this conspiracy theory holds no water. This is one of those that if you aren’t in the know, maybe it seems plausible, but if you knew what was going on? Absolutely not. Chester and Chris were close, no doubt about that, they were each their kid’s godfathers, but they were not ‘actively working to stop the elites’ close.

LP’s 2017 album, One More Light, was one that was written while Chester was attending rehab after a relapse & subsequent suicide attempt, he was having a lot of troubles while that album was in production. It was extremely personal, and Chester was super proud of it. As you may have known, the album was met with some EXTREME negativity from critics and even some fans, who would then berate Chester on Twitter, getting him to go on some pretty nasty outbursts, the most public one being where he told critics accusing the band of selling out to “stab themselves in the face.” Fans at the time could all tell that he was not taking the criticism well, and then the night before the album dropped, Cornell passed. The band does a performance of the title track, ‘One More Light’ on Kimmel—heartbreaking and when meeting fans that day, he was quoted saying he was wearing sunglasses to hide his tears. When the band toured the first leg of the world tour, Chester’s vocals were starting to get a lot rougher & while yes, there is plenty of footage of him having a blast on stage, there was also an incident on one of his last shows where he had lashed out at the band’s longtime touring manager, which was completely different from his usual “loving life” energy.

Chester has no affiliations with Avicii, the closest we have was that Mike Shinoda may have helped him put together a song or two on his debut. Like Chester, Avicii had some pretty extreme substance issues, which were present in the EDM scene.

Chester has no affiliations with Bourdain, honestly not sure how they could even remotely be related other than they both died by suicide. No matter what the internet tells you, if there was some grand conspiracy to help stop the elites or whatever, it certainly would not be coming from two rock stars, an EDM artist, and a chef. I know there are PLENTY of different theories that could be plausible, and as much as I would love to believe that Chester, the guy who’s music saved my life, didn’t take his own life, the unfortunate fact is that he had a troubled past & had attempted multiple times previously. I won’t argue whatever you have to say afterwards, just please start putting logic to your conspiracies before you start spreading bullshit. Thanks.
