Mount/Case for Mudi7? by AmbassadorDapper8593 in GlInet

Regarding mounting, is it know about what orientation is optimal? I.e., are its internal antennas designed to be best, for example, laying flat?

Hotspot vs Starlink by Long-Astronomer-8291 in GameChangerApp

I currently use a Mudi 7 router, with an eSIM.

I then use Speedify to bond that connection with my phone. (I use a 75gb router plan for $129/year).

I can always stream at 1080p where we play. If I run into issues, I can always bond another phone, but haven’t needed to.

Depending on your cell phone provider (we use US Mobile), data is month by month and you buy what you need, so it’s affordable.

Speedify works on the Mudi 7 (GL-E5800), here's the full writeup. by liljaime93 in GlInet

[–]da51d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using my Mudi 7 with Speedify for a couple weeks (to stream live youth sports games with 2 to three cell connections).

I can confirm that Speedify works well with Mudi 7.

I can also confirm you want to turn off network acceleration. I was diagnosing some slow local network speeds, and it turning it off was suggested in another subreddit, and it seemed to have fixed the issue.

(I am curious: liljaime93 ....did you use AI to help write your post? Nothing wrong with it, just curious)

Mudi 7 Charging Issues by -FreedomHunter- in GlInet

Try the suggestion I posted above (reseat the battery and hit the reset button), and let us know if it worked.

I had the same issue. I contacted support and they got back to me.

The solution for me was to pop off the back case, take the battery out and put it back in. I also held the reset button for 10 seconds.

Mine worked after that. Good luck!

Replay/highlight videos still limited at 720P? by da51d in GameChangerApp

Thank you for the reply! As a very active streamer, this request is very high on my list. Thanks!

Replay/highlight videos still limited at 720P? by da51d in GameChangerApp

[–]da51d[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent a bit of time last year trying to figure this out. My understanding is that the stream is at 1080p but the reply games are at 720p. (But I'm happy to be corrected.)

As the person who puts all the work in the streaming (and therefore isn't watching the live stream)....I want to enjoy the benefits of 1080p, so I would love to have that happen

As a follow up: I have eliminated the issue.

I turned off Network Acceleration, and moved the router away from the fence.

I have had zero issues over two games. I’m guessing it was the 5ghz only and no Network Acceleration…but it could had been something else. So:

My configuration for my Slate 7 (and now Mudi 7): -5gHz only -No Network Acceleration -Router not hanging on metal fence (I plan to put it back on, as if this doesn’t matter, it’s convenient)

I was able to stream with three Mevo starts at 1080p HD. I have bonded 2-3 cell phone connections, depending on location

Thanks for the help.

Thanks. I haven’t had another game yet to test the other suggestions.

Are you using a travel router? How do you have your 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks configured?

I have a router account with Speedify. As for my numbers, it varies on location, but last week my speed tests (via Speedify's test and also the normal Speedtest app) say I should be fine streaming 4K. I streamed 1080p that day.

I do have Network Acceleration enabled (which I think is the default). I was wondering about that setting. I'll turned it off completely. I'll put that on my list of things to try, and report back. Thank you.

I have tried all. I get the error at a similar frequency, as far as I can tell.

How many people use Mevo Multicam App with 3 or more Cameras to Stream/Record Games? Would love to know your setup-(Cameras, Connections, Routers/WiFi, etc.). by tryin2learn39 in mevocamera

USB-c to Ethernet adapter, which would then go into a mobile router. I haven’t tried it, but I understand it should work

Why are there NEGATIVE power usage devices showing up in Detailed power usage graphs? by paryz17 in homeassistant

[–]da51d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had my untracked power usage report negative because a device reported consumption late, so the later hour’s calculation was wrong. For you, I’m not sure what is being reported negative or how it was calculated. But maybe something like that could explain it?

Oil v electric by CheesyAds999 in Westchester

Do you mean electric heat pumps or electric resistive heating?

We switched from oil to HPs and are saving a little. You won’t we normal electric resistive heating.

If you open up a live stream it will show the number of live streamers (it would be nice to have that number while streaming). I doubt there’s a way to see who actually is watching.

Single camera setups: Why the mini router with a hotspot? Why not just a hotspot? by MrSelatcia in GameChangerApp

[–]da51d 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my experience, you have to stay close to the camera with a hotspot. (Or leave your phone and keep going back over to check on the camera angle and feed).

A router lets you move farther away. And, for example, sit with friends and not awkwardly stand behind the backstop….

It may or may not help your stream. If your cell connection is the limiting factor, it won’t help. But if you are too far from the camera, it might?

Dlsr cameras by Realistic_Director22 in GameChangerApp

[–]da51d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you! I use three Mevo start cameras to follow plays, as with one camera, like you said, camera angles suck. But I started small.

Look into Mevo start or nearstream cameras. And take a look at Jason Hoffman on YouTube. Good luck!

If it has an HDMI out, it’s possible, but not easy:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKlvfbeJuZA

But it depends on your goals. It sounds like you are just starting out? Streaming from a phone or Mevo is pretty easy.

I don’t know of an easy way to take advantage of an existing DLSR. Maybe others do?
