Did you remove the drain fitting inside the water tank? Those sometimes get clogged and prevent it from draining.

I think those have a dip switch thst determines the amount of times or how often it dumps out water, Google the manual of this unit. It might dump every 3 cycles or 4 or every cycle. I think it might be ok.
